Thanks, Lashrito. I thought of Christina Ricci today, which then made me think of The Addams Family. And in my head I started going over the cast and who did what. I thought to myself "Alan Silvestri for sure scored the film" (for some reason he stood out), only to be surprised it’s Marc Shaiman

Ha! Yeah, perhaps it’s a subconscious Christopher Lloyd/Silvestri connection – Back to the Future, Roger Rabbit (he was bald in that, too). And like Addams, Zemekis’ live action direction is similarly cartoonish.

Shaiman’s far from my fav, but he’s done some great stuff.
