Yeah, after reading about what they had to do with the materials that survived, I rather listen to this instead.

I listened to the La La Land and I just couldn’t put up with the archival sound. I realize that some people want to hear the entire score at all costs but to me it just wasn’t worth it. Plus the music on the re-recording done for the LP is so fantastic that I can do without the rest of the music.

However, if you enjoy this music and don’t have a copy of the Kritzerland, it is worth picking up the La La Land release because it has this album version as well and the score really is a worthy addition to any collection.
