I was too young to have seen this when it opened, but caught it later when they bundled two ‘Bond’ films together. These films defined ‘COOL’ for an entire generation and served as a template for the current ‘superhero’ movies.

Somewhere I still have a copy of this Lp, those old 12×12’s were a thing of beauty.

Great movie between this and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service probably my most favourite Bond films.

Thanks for this great score …and for so many others, WildwoodPark. Just listened to it and realised that I don’t know the Barry-Bond score as well as one should. Brought back great memories of seeing it (rather regularly) on TV as a kid. Think I’m going to watch it again soon. I would agree with you, this and "On Her Majesty’s Secret Service" are my favorites as well (and I have always been strangely partial to "From Russia With Love" as well).
