Hello sir, its me again. Could I persuade you to send me the link for this score from Tiomkin? Is the film where Gary Cooper and Anthony Perkins are forced not to turn the other cheek? Do love these old classic films. Why is there such a dearth of music from the Golden Age, Did’nt Max Steiner do about 300 scores in his career? There is not that much out there by him? Alfred Newman the man who won 9 oscars and recently overtaken by John Williams for nominations (memory probably faulty there), does not seem to have masses of scores to represent his work. Are they are all stashed in vaults somewhere? Sorry if I am waffling. Just curious about these things. Does it all revolve around money?

Many older scores were not stored properly with the thought being there would be no desire or reason for people to want to hear the music outside of a movie theater.
Steiner composed at least 370 films or so starting in the late 1920’s.
