Please note I spent $15.99 on the OST, just to share it with everyone (I wanted to hear it as well, but everyone that downloaded it didn’t share it), and I’m getting a bit low on money due to college funds eating up my usual OST spending money. Doing 320 kbps will be a waste of space, as the Itunes OST doesn’t even go as far as 320 kbps for some stupid reason. I used Itune’s "create MP3" version and comparing both together with headphones and speakers they sound completely identical to each other. If Itunes create MP3 version does VBR then you’re good, if not then can you tell me how to covert it to VBR -V 0?

I’m sure it will, 1,000 will net me $25 and that’s all I really need, unfortunately I am not an American citizen (Bermudian), but I go to school in Chicago, Illinois (columbia College) so I’m unable to get a job here until I apply for a Visa which is a lot of procedues I have to do just for that. If you convert audio files that are lossy (MP3, AAC) to another audio format, you lose quality. Trust me on this one, I went through a lot of headaches to figuring it all out. I lost a lot of time using iTunes’ "Create MP3" version. In order to keep the same quality as it is on the disc, you’ll need to rip the CD into FLAC, not converting a lossy audio format to FLAC. That’s just a waste of time. Another thing, when you convert any lossy file, you not only lose quality, but you lose quality every time you convert the file. I learned a lot about this stuff, not I’m not expert on how to rip FLAC and stuff, but they’re are others that can surely tell you exactly everything you need to know about FLAC and stuff. I hope this helps… ; )

You forgot the part about tossing the audio quality into the crapper. Converting a lossy format to another lossy format will result in a track with severely degraded audio quality.

Wait for someone to get the OST and make an encode from the source, or buy the OST yourself and do it.

With modern encoders, 160Kbps isn’t too bad for a lossy format. The problem is that the OP reposted a conversion from lossy AAC to lossy MP3. You’re getting a lossy encode of a lossy encode. Quality is now in the toilet.

To clerify against this, I used Itunes convert to an MP3, I did not really re-encode it from itunes M4A to MP3, comparing the two together there’s no difference in sound or quality. This was using itunes conversion, not a 3rd party converter. So it’s the same quality as you would get from itunes.

Oh ok I dl’d off iTunes anyway and got the M4A/ 71 songs for $15 is a pretty good deal even if it includes some originals

btw does anyone know when prologus is gonna have the NA release its only 18 days away til the game release I’m surprised there hasn’t been any confirmation regarding the release date yet

For some reason I can’t download from the OP’s link. First time, it didn’t load at all. Second time, it started downloading and then gave an error "the connection to the server was reconfigured", something along those lines. And for each attempt I have to wait 20 minutes. =/
