Three versions of this game were compared:
PlayStation version: 18900Hz XA
Dreamcast version: 44100Hz ADPCM
PC version: Unknown, but probably the worst of the three
The PC version’s music could not be easily located, but the bulk of the disc’s data is devoted to MPEG cinemas, leaving very little space for high-quality music after the game data.
Compositions are the same between the PS and DC versions. The PS version seems to have a few more tracks, or possibly their DC counterparts are hidden away where I can’t get to them. While both versions contain a sound-alike version of Golden Earring’s "Radar Love" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hw9CzSSk218), I could only find a sound-alike version of The Who’s "Baba O’Riley" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2KRpRMSu4g) on the PS version. The extra PS songs have been included in a subfolder.
I’ve never played the game, so the tracks are unordered. The original DC stream names are pretty descriptive, though.
Barry Blum, Kevin Manthei, Robyn Mendheim,
Brian Min, Brian Withycombe

EDIT: PS1 version Sarge’s Heroes 2 music is just as crappy as the first game, FYI. Same funky frequencies.

Just as long as it’s listenable. I have a really shitty recording of the "Boot Camp" and "Main Theme" that I wish to replace :/
This one won’t be as quick, though. Be patient kgamefreak, I won’t forget about you.

*waits patiently*
In terms of audio quality, I would definitely say that the PC version is indeed the most inferior of the three. Having ripped the .XA audio and .Wav from the PSX and PC versions respectively a while ago, and just got hold of the DC version’s .iso, I’d rank them from best to worst: DC, PSX and PC. The DC version has a slightly "cleaner" audio quality to it, compared to the PSX version, but it seems the DC version is missing a few songs compared to its PSX and PC cousins. Not your rip I mean, but just on the actual disk itself. Don’t know why.
Anyway, here’s part 2, guys! (Thread 87966)

Thank you very much Ito 😀
Can you re-upload this?
re up please.
+1 on the re-up Please!!
I searched all my drives for the original archive, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. So I’ve re-ripped everything and re-uploaded it all to Mega. Sorry for the delay!
