A DS lite wi-fi question

Ok this is starting to upset me. I wanna get the stupid Victini in pokemon but I have to do the Wi-Fi thing. Now the last time I did it was when they did the Oak’s Letter event so I could get Shaymin…… it took me well over 2 hours to work with my router to get it to WEP and back to normal. That aggravation wasn’t worth a legit Shaymin 🙁 Is there a better way for the wifi to work? Can I go through the wii or something or is that just wishful thinking?

Yes, I know, noob question but I rarely ever have a need to use the ds wifi……..

I know exactly what you mean about trying to figure it out. But I decided the next time I use Wi-Fi for the DS, I’m just going to deactivate the wireless password the next time I need to use it. It only takes a few seconds to do and another few seconds to reactivate but this is what I was planning.

It shouldn’t really take that much effort to switch your encryption to WEP and back, man.

better yet, have your wep key written in a pice of paper close by.
i have it written in my routers manual, that way i can configure my gaming systems while still having my internet secure.

It was a long time ago where I never used my DS for Wi-Fi. It would probably be easier now but I haven’t played it in over 6 months.

Yay I don’t have to worry about it anymore ^__^ My bf got the Liberty Pass for me on his DSi………. which apparently has different wifi settings than the lite does -__-

I thought Victini was going suck……….. It’s actually pretty dang good.

what’s the Liberty Pass? I never heard of that.

You better hurry up and learn if you want Victini then, the distro for the pass ends April 10th. Get your Pokemon Black or White and start it up make sure you can access the wifi on it. Go to the beginning menu and go to ‘mystery gift’, select ‘receive gift’, and select ‘get via nintendo wfc’. Once you do that you’ll get the Liberty Pass. Accept it and start up your game, the guy that gives you the pass should be in the Pokecenter. Get your pass from him and save. Go to Castelia City and run all the way to the left of the city then go to the dock. Board the boat in the dock, get to Liberty Island, fight some Plasma guys, go into the lighthouse, battle and catch Victini. Make sure you take lots of pokeballs though………… Victini likes to troll…. a lot. Threw over 30something balls and still couldn’t catch it. It took me a second battle to get it :p But Victini is really good.

oh. it’s basically a poke-pass… good thing I never play pokemon.
