SO MUCH WIN!!!! YES!!! I had this CD before, it got badly scracthed 🙁
I wanted to share this, since it’s so rare!!
Thanks a ton!!! I LOVE Journey in the Dark!!!
This is about as rare as Tyler Bates plagiarizing music. As in, not very rare at all.
(I have the version pictured above)
I listened to this cd endlessly years ago (I can still picture tattered LOTR paperback editions scattered about the living room). I still fall back on it (as well as Howard Shore’s more contemporary/modern work) for my "complete" LOTR "audio immersion" experience. "Hobbits" is playing on my PC right now! I HIGHLY recommend this for LOTR fanatics! Cheers!
many many thanx:)
Delayed reponse; not an alternate cover. A different cover from a different recording.
And, yeah, De Meij is a thief, but a spectacular thief. I still think this is a great work.
Pity about the recording though… has the LSO in Abbey Road ever sounded so claustrophobic?
