This is a FF7 hip-hop concept album available from bandcamp. It’s not a download link, but you can download some of the songs for free. Obviously you’ll want to buy it anyway after listening.

i love hip hop and i love final fantasy vii.

but this is pretty meeeeeh. lackluster beats, and average rappers. If these rappers are gonna take on a character they should try to "be" the character like an actor would. Just vague and abstract verses I’m hearing. Decent flows/delivery throughout the album. No real flow (not in the rhythmic sense) to this "concept" album. Just bouncing all over the place.

"Cry of the Planet" is pretty decent, but it really has nothing to do with FFVII besides the instrumental.

Sorry if i come off pretentious, but being a rapper/producer myself (and an avid fan of FFVII), this is just disappointing and not my cup of tea.

Hey, it’s cool! I am way more lenient about game-themed raps. I agree that more effort could’ve been put into the beats (in fact most of it is just based on the game songs). Hated the Don Corneo bit, other than that I definitely found myself smiling here and there.
