I don’t quite like the RPG library of the PS2
Your best bet though is the MegaTen Franchise, if you can handle the Grinding.
I haven’t played FFX but I’m not interested in it.
FFXII was a great experience to me, not without it’s numerous flaws, it is though a pretty good game.
Only look into the Xenosaga trilogy if you’re okay with cut-scene heavy, extremely linear games.
Definitely recommend XII over X, as well.

Haha, I never once mentioned I didn’t like Persona 4. I said it seems everybody like it, meaning it must be a good game.

P3 has the better story but P4 has the better game play and set location…

Hmmmm FFX, Disgaea 1 and 2, Odin Sphere, Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time didn’t finish :(, Silent Hill 2,3,4 , Resident Evil 4, God of War II, and Shadow of the Colosus. Thats all I can think of hope this helps
