A couple of years ago I posted a thread asking if anyone had the CD of Green Jelly/Jello’s Maximum Carnage Soundtrack, and noone answered. I’m really beginning to wonder if it even exists! If anyone has a copy, even if copied from a cassette tape, I REALLY want that album!!!

Otherwise, please let me know if it doesn’t exist so I can put my soul to rest…..

Hmmm…. I THINK that’s what I’m looking for, but only two tracks? That’s a bit Depressing…. I was thinking there was, like, a full soundtrack…. God, I can just do a YouTube convert of the one song I’m missing….

Well, Thanks for the link!

Can you point me to a "this-chiptune-sounds-like-this-song" thread, then?

What song are you missing?

Scratch that, what soundtrack are you looking for anyway, the Genesis one or the SNES one? Because there’s rips of both floating around.

I have the "chips" of the SNES version [which I like alot!], what I’m wanting is to compile an album of the songs that were "used" in the game, that is, the artists’ original songs.

To kinda clarify what I mean:

Title theme = Green Jelly – Carnage Rules
Super Villains = Black Sabbath – The Mob Rules

I have these songs, but I’m wanting to find the rest of the other songs that were, in essence, covered [assuming all the music is "chiptuned" versions of actual songs], since there isn’t a full album made.

I’m thinking almost along the lines of the DOOM rip-off/plagiarism/cover [take your pick] concept that various tracks where [In the case of DOOM] all the BGM was MIDI renditions of Metallica, AC/DC, Pantera, etc.

Make sense?

Am I even in the right thread?

I think these two songs were the only ones covered.

I can’t help you but thanks for the information, I absolutely didn’t suspect these tracks were in fact cover of real songs!
