Hey, did any of you notice that Battle_high01, Battle_high02 and Battle_high03 are the same as some tracks on the Command and Conquer 3 OST?

Wow first impression is – super awesome! Something about the way the orchestra and synth are mixed in this sounds great. More comments to come.

Having gone through most of it (by skipping through clearly repetitive/duplicative tracks), it seems the majority of the action cues are based on the same short motif of da-da, da-da, da-da da-da-da-da. While it is nice the first few times, it gets quite repetitive after a while. There seems to be very slight variations between the different battle tracks. More to come after i listen to the cutscene cues.

It seems there is a distinct lack of melody in even the cutscene tracks. If you like pure rhythmic action and atmospheric stuff this is totally for you. While I like to see the main titles and end titles using the same melody, it is still a largely simplistic melody that doesn’t get properly developed in any of the other tracks.

EA still can’t decide how to release this soundtrack (CD/digital), but soon we should get more information about it.

Please disregard my last rip, I will be adding a much better rerip from the xbox360 with better quality and missing tracks added, seems i missed quite a lot. Plus i will conbine the segments a little better.
