The Woman in Black by Rachel Portman

Up next is the rare score for the 1989 ghost story, The Woman in Black composed by Rachel Portman. It was by pure chance that I managed to find this score on another website which led into my introduction to the film itself. I’m not sure of the source of the rip or the ripper but bravo to whoever managed to find this score. The quality is amazing however the first and last cue of the score are in stereo while the remainder of the score are in mono. While the mono cues do lack the required depth for this type of score but considering the film was mastered in mono it’s forgivable. There are no SFX throughout the entire score but on occasion there is a faint hiss that never distracts. I hope you all enjoy this!

As good as the 2012 version is, this 1989 original still scares the hell out of me….it’s awesome, as is the score…if we can only find it!

EDIT: Nevermind, I got it to work. After the 15 second countdown, wait another 15 seconds or so. That worked for me.
