Thank you, I still have to wait for my copy so it’s nice to have a preview. The music sounded very good in the last episodes, it seems Taku Iwasaki is really back with Katanagatari. I can only hope that his next scores will be even better. Maybe with more instruments that are barely used these days.

Edit: The last four tracks alone make this worth every penny. Modern elements mixed with classic composing done right.

Tracks 1 and 3 are two of the weirdest things I’ve ever heard from Taku Iwasaki. You can’t say the man isn’t quirky.

Track 1 sounds like it cuts off early though. Not that I’m blaming you for it, Iwasaki-san does weird things and that may have been intentional.

Yeah when I heard track 1, I thought that it got cut off as well but like you said it may have been intentional.

Did anyone find in track 2 at the 1.04-1.05 mark, it sped up for that tiny bit? Is it suppose to be like that?

OMG, "18 ☆Last Battle (circa 01:54-03:07)", I watched that scene in katanagatari episode 12 (circa 36:33-39:05) at least a dozen times, gave me goosebumps.
The music and that final battle scene where just epic. Thank You JJShanny!

PS: The other scenes which I found perfect because of the music where:
-katanagatari ep.02 (circa 42:58-44:07) => "16 零閃乙" on Katanagatari OST1 (Shichika Yasuri x Ginkaku Uneri).
-katanagatari ep.03 (circa 43:08-44:37) => "22 月刀歌" on Katanagatari OST1 (Shichika Yasuri x Meisai Tsuruga).

The only thing I didn’t like about the show where that there were to few battles per episode and they where really short (circa 3 minutes per 50 minute episode).
My apologies for using the word circa alot!
