NOTES:
I created this complete score using the "Philosopher’s Stone" Recording Sessions (Lossless FLAC version).
I arranged all of the tracks into chronological order (as they appear in the film), gave tracks appropriate titles,
removed excess silence from the beginning and end of every track, amplified the volume of every track to optimum level, and converted to high quality MP3, VBR-0.
Source — Recording Sessions (Lossless, FLAC)
Runtime — CD1: 1 hour, 19 mins, 34 secs. CD2: 1 hour, 17 mins, 53 secs.
Files — High Quality MP3, VBR-0.
ENJOY!

Haha! I knew warstar would be on my case as soon as I posted this!
I just don’t understand it. From his last post, this one now has more capitalization, five question marks, three paragraphs and appears to have mirrored this thread’s title. Is he really totally unaware of his poor grammar or can’t read a word of English? Does he have an inability to understand that no one has the music he’s looking for? Or what if he isn’t human–what if he is, in fact, a robot?

Not to mention he doesen’t have an Avatar or anything on his profile and I just now noticed that his username is Star Wars just with the "Star" and Wars" reversed

Well, I hear SFX. 🙁
Thanks anyway.
This is everything from the 3CD recording sessions, just arranged differently. Nothing is missing.
Thanks anyway.
I listen to this often, and I do not believe there are fx.
This version was adapted from the lossless version of the recording sessions and also converted to higher quality MP3’s than my previous upload.
ENJOY!!!
And, for the record, no — there are NO SFX.
I think that’s the idea, yes. I’m a recent convert, and I have to say I have noticed the difference! I used to use CBR until another forum member advised me about VBR.
I think, basically, the idea is that if you set the bitrate to Constant, every second of the music file is encoded to say 320kbps, therefore even the silence in a piece of score music is using up 320kb, resulting in an unnessecarily bulky filesize.
Using Variable bitrate, set to range between say 128kbps and 320kbps, means that silent or quiet parts of the music file will be encoded at the lower end (128) and louder, more complex parts will be encoded at the higher end (320), therefore resulting in a smaller, more quality efficient file.
The file might say it’s bitrate is say 202kbps, but parts of it will be lower and parts will be higher, while still maintaining an audibly steady sound quality.
Hope this all makes sense……

I’d re-up, but i don’t seem to have this version. I only have the raw recording sessions? I was **sure** I kept this. Imma gonna go rummage in my closet.

This is the mp3 conversion of the raw recording sessions originally posted. So, no edits or mastering. I would really like for the OP of this thread to post his edit again, or anyone else….

Chamber of Secrets Complete doesn’t even exist, so no. Nobody has it in lossless.

Thanks for providing this for those who asked, bishty. I’m still deciding what to do with my files since the downfall of megaupload.
Anyone have suggestions for a new place to upload?
New links:

CD2:

This is the higher quality re-up version I did a while back, the audio is much better than the version provided in bishty’s link. So bish – and everyone else – grab this version and enjoy!
P.S – I’ll try and get round to re-uploading all of my other stuff to Mediafire at some point in the near future. I miss megaupload 🙁

I do. I’m uploading it.
Re-up?
But I do think, that nothing should be done to anything that is not lossless.

I dunno, I hadnt been on here in a while and I was shocked at what people are doing to music in editing. If you dont have pricey studio monitors, solid metering equipment and mastering grade plugins.. plz dont try and master or edit stuff, you’ll just end up embarrassing yourself.
Just trying to make the music easier to listen to, not pretending to be some kind of editing genius.
The only one embarrassing themselves here is you.
New link, by the way.

MUCH better than my old edit 🙂
MUCH better than my old edit 🙂
Thanks, I’d got that one anyway – I just assumed this version with 67 tracks had more on it than the other 44 track version (which does sound great by the way).
MUCH better than my old edit 🙂
So you’d consider this one basically fully superseded? Or did your 2nd version contain stuff that SonicAdventure’s doesn’t? 🙂
Cheers.
