Credit goes to the original ripper. I found this lossless somewhere, but I forget which format, since I deleted it. I encoded to Ogg Vorbis (aoTuV 5.7 beta, -q7 -> 201 kbps) and changed to English track names. (edit: see below post–I found the original, so if somebody really needs this in another format, I could re-up)

Is Vorbis fine with people? At least from a sound quality perspective, it’s better than mp3 at equivalent bitrates, and -q5 is already considered transparent compared to lossless for most people, for most music samples.

I have a lot more Falcom music where this came from, but it’s all -q7 Vorbis now. Anyone interested? Most of it still has the Japanese track names, as I have not bothered changing those yet. Also, my upload speed is not so great, so I can’t upload too much at once.

Any responses appreciated!

Actually, I just realized that I do in fact still have the originals (lossless) on an external hard drive. If anybody would prefer the original or maybe mp3s (specify bitrate), leave a message and I may get around to it.

If it’s not too much trouble, then i’d like to request the lossless version.

Original ape+cue added to first post. You can show your appreciation by passing a blind identification test like foobar ABX (http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_abx) and posting the results, with a track of the lossy compared to the lossless.

Just kidding, I know there are other reasons to have the lossless. 😉

The difference is minute, and generally not even noticeable by most people, i myself can only notice it on vocal tracks, however i tend to collect lossless whenever possible due to having the space for it as well as the off chance it will effect how it sounds, as unlikely as it may be.

Thank you very much for taking the time to upload the lossless version!
