Yes, it is a BOOTLEG! but no SFX, very clean recordings. Got this from Sparktank awhile back!

All I see is the VA album and the score with 18 tracks. Released twice, 1998/2008.

This looks like the same bootleg I acquired some time ago. Track titles are very familiar.

There is no "La La Land" Armageddon – there is no official 2CD release of the Armageddon score as yet and they are not, to my knowledge, working on one – this is a bootleg. If you bought it from Amazon, they saw you coming.

Just want everyone to know that I never meant to post a "Bootleg", that would be the LAST thing that I would want. However, I was listening to this score, thinking that I had gotten it from someone in the studios, since there were no FX at all, and the music sounded like a recording session, without any cues. It still sounds like it came from a master recording, not a DVD rip or something like that. Does anyone know the back story, or who created this copy?
I placed it here in the spirit of sharing, and I am sorry if some people cannot appreciate that. No disrespect meant at all!

Personally, I downloaded this a year or two ago, and I have all the tracks on my ipod. I love it. Pure music without SFX. Even though it’s not official, it’s still a great release, bootleg or not.

Yeah, bootlegs are nice when companies like LaLaLand or Intrada haven’t made anything yet.
The only thing about bootlegs is that it’s hard to tell where they came from. Studio/Recording Sessions/fan-edit/dvd-rip (sfx)/dvd-bluray rip (isolated score)/lossy releases
Some movies are dvd-rips, but from the Isolated Score and not latent with sfx/dialog, such as Starship Troopers, that had so many different releases. Same with Conan, The Fifth Element and The Professional and Transformers (no true lossless version exists of any of the expanded/complete/bootlegs).
Either way, it’s more clean music.
However, Isolated Scores tend to be only available in lossy AC3 formats.

Basil Poledouris has a few soundtracks with so many different versions/bootlegs, one of which I have yet to find a complete lossless version to "Hunt for Red October".
