Not a significant release of Bear McReary’s wonderful music – only 9 minutes and different mixes of the theme but it is something I guess. Some SFX but I think these are part of the mixes.

Hmm… when will the actual release come out? I want the main theme SO badly.

So is this an official release of Bear McReary’s score, or is it fan-made?

I got it from emusic – so I have no idea where it came from to get there,

McCreary (not McReary) has already stated that an album will come after season 2, because season 1 was not only small but also featured a lot of silence so there isn’t much music.

These must be fan-made tracks since they sound like they were made with some sort of composing program. Way too many elements are missing and the instruments don’t sound real.

Nice upload however Cushing. They are nice remixes before the official release comes out.

I just want that music that was played at the end of the first episode when both Duane and Rick have to deal with their own zombies. That music was gorgeous.

No unabridged version that I know of, you can get that small sample here (http://www.bearmccreary.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/wd101c.mp3) though. Replace the letter on the end for all the tracks on the page.

I hope Bear releases these full scores soon. He says he wants to wait until Season 2 is released, and then do a full CD… but if you ask me, there’s enough scores from Season 1 to warrant an internet soundtrack release.

Dunno. At the moment I have 31 clean tracks for this, and it only comes to 20 min. I do not do the show, but i assume the music is fairly sparse?

I wish they would release an album but the sad fact is it’s not going to happen unless "the powers that be" change their minds.
