Rune Factory Frontier – Collaborative Gamerip

I’ve recently started working on tagging the music from RFF, since there wasn’t an official release and it’s been at least a year since it first came out. Ripped the music from the game myself. I know I should be focusing more on the Dark Dawn gamerip, but I have a friend who really loves Rune Factory, so I’m doing this as a gift for him. Out of the 83 songs, there are only 8 remaining to be tagged.

I got two more (specifically BGM_30_32k.brstm and BGM_35_32k.brstm) songs tagged. I know this is a bit of a shameless bump, but if anybody has any idea when the remaining 6 play, please help out.

Ah, well. Everyone has their preference when it comes to tagging. I wanted to put the vocalist in the artist tag and was wondering which girl was singing in which track. Thanks either way; also Neverland Co. is just the developer of the game, if the net serves me right. Tomoki Morita is the actual composer, or at least the only one listed for the music.

Ah… Well, in that case, I’ll upload a fixed version. Just be warned: It took 15 hours to upload, and since there are other people who use the internet here… Well, they’ll be up… Sometime around Christmas most likely. Of course, this time I won’t set it so that my batch uploader has the FLAC and ALAC versions uploading at the same time…

Of course, actually having a list of the voice people would be required. To Google!

Edit: Oh hell. There is BELOW a low amount of info on voices. I’m considering doing what most Japanese releases do and just putting the character names. And by "considering" I mean unless I have full info by the 21st it’s being done. And by the 21st I mean "I’m doing just that right now so I can let it upload while I sleep because I’m tired as hell".

Edit: Better idea, although I need the VA for both Irises.

Heh, you really shouldn’t go that far. For people who want to fix it, they can do it theirself. If it’s only tags, you can just list it, really 😛
(also, just a note, but when you embed art in files, I hear it’s good to keep the filesize kind of small, like 50kb small, but I don’t really know. I’ve only heard people mention it. Someone also mentioned it can possible mess up playing back on ipods or something; I don’t use it myself or anything, but just what people (or one) I caught when speaking of embedded art).

If you really want to fix up tags, just use Mp3tag or something, and Ctrl+E (export), then go to Alt+4 (Text file – Tag, I use, but you probably only need artist, album, title, track and year): %artist% ^ %album% ^ %title% ^ %track% ^ %year% ^ %genre% ^ %comment% ^ %publisher% ^ %lyricist% ^ %remixedby%

and upload it if you really want to bother, but re-uploading it is something you’d do if you really feel like being a perfectionist >_>

At the top, where it says "Uploading corrected version", that was more of "I will be uploading corrected version soon". I’m a bit of a perfectionist =P

Okay… For the songs sung by individual people (the OP and the Candy songs), those have the actual voice people. The songs by multiple people (all of the other voiced songs) have character-related tags ("The Iris Twins" for the Spirit Song, and "The Maidens of Trampoli" for the Grimoire Songs). Reuploading will be done soon.

I made a few corrections in tags, but since they’re just really minor, I’ll post exactly what I did, which was replacing all examples of "Mela Lee" with "Candy", since the rest are either tagged with the composer or character names.

That Flac or Alac, and for future refreance you guys NEVER rip anything as ALAC, you can rip as Flac and transcode to ALAC without any loss of quality, but ALAC files are a pain to work with… so play it safe an rip as flacs plz <3 but they are nice!
