Nice one Johnny-mah-boi! To be honest the original RE creeped me out badly as a kid.

The Resident Evil original is worth a go just for the sheer comedy awfulness of it, but the remake is hands down the best remake of any game ever.

second snake fight, defeated it, and then barry bursts in asking FOUND ANYTHING JILL? – nothing.
completely ignoring the 10 foot dead snake to their left.

Weskers supposedly completely UNEXPECTED turn into a villain, despite the obvious ‘Douchebag in sunglasses during the FUCKING NIGHT!’ routine giving him away. 😛

to be honest, i didnt expect that.
specially since i was 12 at the time.
and extra specially because back then i wanted glasses like those so badly, and he was my favorite character back then.
then he turns out to be the bad guy and all my dreams come crashing down faster than the demolition of the WTC and the columbia combined.

for once, cnn was right… my dreams crashing speed was 18 times the speed of light

I was only 9 playing Resi 1, your mind thinks differently back then, you’re thinking "oh crap, what is going to happen next?" rather than "I wonder who is behind all this?"
