Ok, rather than continuing to clutter up the main page with individual soundtrack threads, I figured I’d consolidate them all here.

Now, these are what I consider to be the best of my soundtracks: in other words, these are the ones that end up on my iPhone, as opposed to the ones that just gather dust on my hard drive.

Hey buddy. Due respect, but the only person who cares about consolidating your soundtracks is you man. People searching around don’t want to have to dig through an entire "favorites" thread to find what they’re looking for. The mods made it a rule, in-fact, to post individual threads so people could search easier. So thanks for posting, but there’s a method to the madness.

Respect right back atcha, but I disagree with almost everything you said. This "rule" the mods made must be more of a "guideline," since there are dozens of members here who maintain consolidated threads like this, and the fact that they are constantly bumped to the front page with "thank-you’s" and re-up requests implies that people use them regularly.

Besides, the search engine kinda sucks.

ive used the search engine here so i personally vouche for Matthews in saying that the search engine does indeed suck very badly lol. no complaints about it though. just sayin cuz im on may other forums. most of them have sucky search engines like this 1 but there are 4 sites which very good search engines. i mean, u put one word (Undertaker) or a few numbers (91 or 1991) and it gives u everything.

For the 2 GOW expanded OSTs, is it complete? In other words, is every single cue heard/found in the game there or anything missing? I’m really looking for a complete game rip for the GOW series but for now, will take what I can get.

Phenomangel: it’s complete for the most part. I only used each cue once, so I threw some of them towards the back half for the sake of balance. Some segments in the game uses music from the original GoW, so I didn’t include those. And there were a few cues that I cut out that were pretty much just subtle rearrangements of boring ambiance tracks, but other than that I think you’ll find everything pretty well accounted for.

If you want a complete God of War rip (the first one, I mean), you might want to look elsewhere. I pared it down by almost half, I think.

@phenomangel: the Gears of War is the original soundtrack, not a rip. Still, I haven’t heard anything in the game that isn’t represented, so I guess it’s complete. 🙂
