Delete my account?

Hey admins or mods. Can you delete my account? Please.

It’s the policy of the admins not to delete accounts. If you don’t want to return, that’s okay. The account will simply go unused from now on. On the other hand, if you do come back, that means you won’t have to register again.

Hello Administrators (possibly J.Peterman) or (Sarah),

I signed up by accident not fully realizing this site was used for downloads and such. I looked around and was not interested but could not figure a way to delete my account so as to be safe. A mistake on my part and I have to say that I am a bit scared at the response my post will get considering what I have seen of the other threads concerning this topic. I did notice that someone a while back had their account successfully deleted and would very much appreciate if i too could have my account deleted in a professional manner by the staff here at the forum. I sincerely apologize for upsetting anyone and hope for successful resolution! Thank you very much for your attention and consideration.

Plus, if you’re worried about something, wait for the name change you requested in the other thread and then don’t log back in after that.

Also, I don’t know of anyone who has ever gotten their account deleted because they requested it. J.Peterman got deleted for multiple other reasons, and I think that’s the only one.

I do indeed request a user name change as previously indicated if there is absolutely no way that my account can be deleted. (I was absolutely unaware of this non-deletion policy and had I known then I would have made a different choice and stayed as a guest/unregistered user.)

If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion to the administrators (those who run site) concerning this account deletion matter then I would suggest that a warning or notice of policy should be prominently displayed on the main page of the site (example–WARNING: Registered User Accounts cannot be deleted/cancelled). Also, it would be super helpful if a similar warning was displayed in the email (Action Required to Activate Membership for Final Fantasy Shrine Forums) that is sent for activation. There could be a warning stating that once activated the account cannot be deactivated or cancelled with a link to click on to the finish activation process AND a link to click on that would cancel the activation process!
