Donkey Kong Country Returns!

So, now that the game is out, does anyone have a rip of this? I’m really excited to hear all of the old (and new) themes in this!!! Thanks to those who help!

Seconded, you’d think a game with this much hype surrounding it would have at the very least had a game rip available… Interesting.

To be fair, it’s only just been released today. I’d give it a day or two.

3rd. I’m also looking forward to the remixes in this game. If I’m able to call them that.

I’m hoping the Sloppy Sands music is coming soon. It should be easy to get a great rip of most tracks when you complete the game, since there’s a music gallery in the extras. 🙂

I was looking into it, but just one problem. Most Wii games have their songs in .BRSTM format, which can play in Winamp, no problem. DKCR? Some new format called ".ras", I’ve never heard of that. Consequently, can’t convert the songs to .MP3, let alone listen to them. 🙁
If anyone wants, I’ll upload the files, can probably tinker with them to either convert or try to listen in….. some kind of source.

Edit: Can you just upload one of them for now so I can try some things? Saves you some time and work.

well if worst comes to worst, someone could unlock all the songs in the game and record the music from there

I might be able to tell you what those tracks are.

EDIT: Never mind, I forgot they were RAS.

Wait a tick here……… RAS stands for raster (as in an image file), and the 2 files given are only 1-2 mb which seems kind of small for a modern audio file to me (but I’m not proficient in ripping newer games so I don’t know)……. Are you sure that what you’re trying to pull out is audio?

edit – I can’t get it to open as an image either….
