Can’t Delete a Post/Thread

I accidentally posted a movie soundtrack in the "Video Game Music Downloads" area. So I posted a new thread of the same movie soundtrack in the right place ("Movies Music Downloads"). Now I want to delete my old thread but it won’t let me. It gives me a message like this:

"You do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else’s post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

I just want to know how I can delete a post/thread.

You’re not allowed to delete your posts or threads. You can only edit your posts.

Contact a mod or admin if you really need to have it deleted. Jessie is who you’re looking for.
