Quite frankly, I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.
Edit:
Nevermind. Borgia Occupation isn’t an extra song. This tracklist is mega mixed up. I will be editing it completely for the MP3 version, so that it’s listed like the Amazon release is. However, there is one extra song.
Lol.
Okay, so I changed "Infiltrating the Borgia Castle" to "Flag’s of Rome", and correctly placed the tracks in their right order.
However, a conundrum.
‘Legacy of the Borgia Family’ and ‘Rome Courtside’ do not belong. One of them has to be Apple Chamber, however neither song is close to how long Apple Chamber is, according to Amazon.
Rofl, too funny.

Oh, man. You’ve got to be shitting me.
The MP3 I’m doing is 116MB. I’m just tagging it now, then will upload on Mediafire. Experts can then compare the two and we’ll figure out which is the better copy. I do know that the one I’m working on has different times than Amazon’s. By a couple seconds on some tracks, others are the same.
Whoever ripped this has given me an overwhelming boner, but at the cost of being retardedly bamboozled.
But I don’t understand. You will propose more tracks than there are in the soundtrack?
But I don’t understand. You will propose more tracks than there are in the soundtrack?
Possibly. If you combine the two extra songs that I have colour coded in the first post, they come out fairly close to the duration of Apple Chamber, the only song that isn’t on this version of the soundtrack. I think maybe that’s why there’s one extra song.
Just a theory, though.
Is the CE score on a separate disc? Are you uploading this one in lossless then?
Yeah, the CE score is on its own disc. And no, I do not own it myself, nor do I touch Lossless. I see no difference whatsoever between it and 320.
It is not the same soundtrack than Assassin’s Creed 2…Be prepared of that!
AC2 was good, but the songs after the first three took a big nose dip in terms of quality music.
This soundtrack is so much more diverse. I love every song.
cheers 🙂
Another one too, Borgia occupation is cut short.

Shit. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I’ll upload a Mediafire fix to those songs.

11 Borgia Occupation (Fix)

Seems Apple Chamber is an Amazon/commercial release exclusive? None of the cues in the last two songs are apart of the sample.

Damn, Jesper is really topping himself with each new Creed score. "Echoes of the Roman Ruins" is so awesome. Can’t wait to hear that when I steer Desmond through the desolate Auditore villa.
Does anybody have the ASSASSINS CREED 2 Score in FLAC?
Best wishes
Is this a missing track ??

No idea where that first cue is from, but the second cue is most certainly ‘Heart’ from ACII.
Sounded like a complete departure from form… not sure if thats indicitive of a first listen-phobia I have (Hated Zimmer’s Dark Knight on first listen too, now I repent nightly for that grave mistake!) …but yeah, ‘Brotherhood’ just sounded… lazy.
To save you all the trouble of dealing with iTunes’ crappy bitrate, I’ve gone and ripped the Apple Chamber track for you. It’s a completely lossless WAV file so no whining about formats — you can FLAC or MP3 it up as you prefer and include it with your existing release here. 🙂

I would tell you what I think of this score, but those who care can head over to Tracksounds in the next week or so where you’ll see an entire feature with reviews of all three of the scores, this one included.

Thanks mate!
According to VGMdb (http://vgmdb.net/album/21960) the 22 tracks version shared here comes only with the Asian version of the Collector’s Edition. Don’t worry, it is official.
Oh cool. 🙂
Just my two cents about it.
You’d think people would just enjoy the amazing game/music? Personally, I don’t care two shits about how ‘fake’ the lossless is. It gets the job done for me and the very mass majority of music lovers.
Oh, two off-topic notes:
1. The sentence you have in your usertitle is slightly wrong, it should be: "Niente vero, tutto permesso". The AC/ACII version was: "Nulla reale, tutto lecito".
2. I’ve saw some gameplay of the english/american version, I suppose… You really got a mixture of English/Italian dub with Brotherhood? I hope it wasn’t also the case for Assassin’s Creed II. Geez, they could have the Ezio’s parts completely dubbed in italian with subtitles, that would make sense.

Thanks for the correction. Being from North America, we don’t have keyboards that have the symbol letters. And what is the difference between the real version and the AC/ACII version?
Yes, they have some Italian English speaking voice actors for both games. I’m sure an Italian such as yourself would be disgusted by it, but I think it does a pretty good job. Let’s keep in mind that the developers that make this game are french canadian. (As am I to a degree so my insulting is allowed.) I always found it kind of funny how the animus would mostly display English but at times throw in some Italian words with the English meaning in brackets. I guess because it’s Desmond inside of it and he speaks English.
Spoiler alert: sequence two in AC: brotherhood
Then again, they finally reveal that Desmond and the gang are in modern day Italy (which I had anticipated because I saw some signs in Italian in the parking lot of AC2), so I don’t really understand why they’re talking in English. Or why they have a british fellow amongst their midst, but whatever.
It’s all in good fun, right?
You’re welcome for that. Well, as a matter of meaning both sentences are very similar in italian, but when it comes to literal translations in english…
Nulla reale, tutto lecito = Nothing is real, everything is legitimate
Niente vero, tutto permesso = Nothing is true, everything is allowed
I’m not disgusted by the dubs mixture, actually I’m happy for that, good job on the voice actors’ parts…. I don’t see the logic in having italians that speak an english that good =P I know it doesn’t really make sense even from a in-game perspective, maybe it’s a feature of the Animus lol
I’m a little sad for this developers’ choice, that’s all… They did an awesome job with the rebuild of Florence, Venice, as well as the other places… And they didn’t keep a complete italian dub for the others players…. It could have been a small, but great tribute to the italian gaming force _
I’ll have my revenge by thinking I’m actually killing the developers in-game, that will make all more fun XD
This is explained in the last game as the Animus translating the dialogue to English for Desmond but anytime they randomly slip into Italian is a result of the Animus glitching. They thought of it all.

Yep. If you turn subtitles on, it translates the Italian into English though. It did in AC2 at least, Get my copy of Brotherhood in a couple of hours or so.
Thanks for the soundtrack, But I think I’ll just buy the iTunes release.
anyone who has the cd but doesn’t know how to rip to flac, use dBpoweramp.
I’ll be posting a rip of the score later today. I would tonight but I don’t have a scanner to get the artwork :\
I’ve ripped it using EAC so there’s no need for concern. Includes the .cue file and the log file as well 😀
Here’s are links to the spectral frequency display from the two first tracks on the disc; Borgia Occupation and Master Assassin. I’m not sure what to look for but maybe someone else does.

Thanks in advance brendan19!
Thanks in advance brendan19!
Yeah, I saw that previously. But the cover art I have is completely different to that.
Sadly though, I don’t have any photo manipulating software so I haven’t cropped the image too much or rotated it slightly to make it fully vertical (if that makes sense – It’s on a slight angle).
So when I upload it, if someone could do that for me that would be much appreciated. 😀
The rip is now up 😀
It would be most appreciated…
Anyway Thank You for great share =), Jesper’s music is just great…
edit: I paid more attention to the music, it is a step up from ac2, a more organic approach, well orchestrated, just hope Jesper can spare some time woking on other titles.
In fact I was not delighted about this OST as long as I was expecting something extraordinary.Nonetheless, hoping that the game rip[ will provide something at better quality.Anyways I have found this missing track on a video for Assassin creed brotherhood on game trailers site. And I am certain that it is not included in the recent OST, for now, at least till the game rip comes in. I have done the ripping for what I saw A gorgeous track and I name it myself
So enjoy the so-called NA- Welcome home and I leave you wit the link

To clarify: the track I uploaded was ripped directly from a CD, mastered from a lossless source; it did *not* come from any of the official digital or non-digital releases and was not a cheated lossless file, hence me providing the raw WAV data. I’m afraid I can’t in good conscience provide the rest of the tracks, though you can all be reassured that all tracks that have been officially released for the game are now available there is a FLAC rip of the limited edition collector’s score, there is the Apple Chamber track I posted, and the alternate mix "V2" of Apple Chamber available on GameSpot for free in lossless.
As others have said, just enjoy the music, guys. I suspect most of you likely don’t have sound systems capable of properly manifesting discernible audio quality difference between a good lossy rip and a lossless one anyway (I know some do, I’m speaking generally), so just relax and be happy that you can listen to it and do the artists a favour and find a way to support them if you can. 🙂
AC: Brotherhood does fall behind a bit, but that’s only an additional score anyway. They recycled a lot of tracks from Assassin’s Creed II for this. I guess a gamerip minus the AC2 stuff would be fine.
And I just noticed that you’re a "Video Game Music Composer", does that have something to do with how you got that mysterious CD you’re referring to that you can’t in good conscience provide us? Sorry for asking so many questions, but I totally feel like Ezio Auditore at the end of AC2. 🙂
Andrew, I’m afraid I have to be vague, sorry. The CD I’m talking about is the one on my desk, which I got in the mail. 😛 It’s not available for sale though, no, which isn’t an issue since — as I said — all the tracks are now available around here across the several threads dedicated to music from this game, so you’re not missing anything if you’ve grabbed all the parts. As for me, I’m a Google search away, but yes my job does have something to do with how I got the CD. 🙂
Oh and the other threads you’re talking about, what are they exactly? I DAFS’ed and I came up with only this.
Thread 82720
I tried to download but FileServe blocked my country, Hong Kong. I’m on a 100 Mbps line but sadly it’s utterly useless when I can’t even download the files in the first place… Is this the thread you’re referring to?
I downloaded all 22 tracks of Limited Codex Edition from brendan19 (FLAC), Apple Chamber (WAV) from you & Apple Chamber V2 (WAV) from GameSpot. Apart from that link above am I missing anything else?
Thanks for taking your time to answer all my questions. 🙂
Between the codex edition and the Apple Chamber tracks, you’ve got all the officially released material. If you want more, OrangeC’s gamerip is your best bet.
As I said before, no.
Last but not least, whats the best way to get "materials that aren’t officially released", apart from becoming a Video Game Music Composer?
My being a composer had no bearing on my getting this CD. If you think about it a bit, you’ll recognize that promotional materials are meant for…promotion. So you can only reliably get them by being someone who the studios would consider capable of promoting their product — like the press, on and offline, for instance.
Sometimes promo CDs are also distributed at gaming conventions, but not very reliably. The most reliable way to get unreleased materials is to grab the pirated copies once they inevitably show up here.
CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE UPLOAD THE REAL FLACS, NOT REAL FAKES PLZ?
Thanks!
I don’t have anything wise to add, but the only thing which can show 100 % if the flac file came from a lossless source, is spectral graph. Things like AudioChecker work mostly well, but they are no way near as accurate especially concerning orchestrated pieces and more precisely, the ones that are quiet or are quiet at times. If Audiochecker analyses such file, it will most probably say it’s not from CD or even better: it will conclude that it can’t even determine the source at all, and that FAILS hard.
Now, I don’t have the cash to buy Adobe Audition (because it has spectral view), I’m using Exact Audio Copy instead. (yeah, the app can even be used for this) The only downside is that you must decompress flac to wav (but then again flac is compressed wav), I use MediaCoder to do that (takes like second or two) and then open up EAC and select ‘process wav’ and under display choose ‘spectral view’. Finally if you see the frequency (vertical axis) goes all the way up to 22 050 Hz, then the flac is genuine (just like on those pics brendan posted), if not, you’ll see sudden absence of all frequencies above 20 000 Hz, they are really cut off and that is f@ckin# fake flac.
