Final Fantasy XV News?

Is there anything out there at the moment? With FF14 being released, they usually announce the next game before the new one comes out, but they haven’t done that so far. Or am I completely indigenous? 😀

Too early yet for info. Wait until a few months after the PS3 launch of FFXIV.

Don’t get your hopes up too high. Wada said he has no idea where to take the series after XIV, so XV might be coming a lot later than you would like. Although I’m pretty sure they’re not going to stop them altogether. Too much money at stake.

To be quiet honest, I am really tired of the whole steam punk, Belts and buckles everywhere thing.

Kind of want a Final Fantasy with castles, dragons and all that stuff from the first couple of games, but whatever times are changing. Though would be nice to get that stuff with current/next gen graphics.

Couldn’t agree more! Something like FFIX would be my preference. But I’m afraid Square would have to fire Nomura before that happends LOL!
But I wonder if people would buy it as much as a FFX/FFXIII-like game?

I want something like an FF9 game again I agree.

As for if people would buy it, yes they will. Final Fantasy games sell regardless of how good they are, because they always "look" good, and more often than not, they are very good games. We FF fans may debate that certain games are pretty bad but in honesty, all the games are pretty solid, just that we prefer some to others by some margin.

I agree, too. A return to origins would be nice! But we have to wait until we know something about this game…

I don’t hold a grudge against Square-Enix in that capacity, I reckon they could make a more traditional FF game if they wanted, just with an action packed fighting system.
