William
YES! I actually have two! The first one I got from "Supertrack" records, and the second one is a more complete version. I will post BOTH!! I also have about 14 or 16 episodes of music, bootleg, that I got from the same guy who gave me the Star Trek
Next Generation music! All will be posted here!
Enjoy, William

Plus I wanted all new, fresh links, not somebody’s second hand "stolen" links! 😉
PM FOR LINK
Just added "A nice place to visit" "A penny for your thoughts", "One for the angels" and two other episodes that are untitled!
BTW, if anyone knows which episodes these are, since I have a few untitled ones, I would appeciate a "headsup"!
Enjoy, William
No problem, will be adding more and more all week long, keep checking back!
William
GEEEEZZZZZ, I wish that I did, I would throw that up here in a NEW YORK MINUTE! 😉
William
oh man, this thread just keeps getting better and better 😀
Just keep checking back, I’ve only just begun!!!!
William
Okay, here is your daily dose of TZ! Links above! More to come!
William
No worries! More, ALot more to come! I just added 3 more sets of episodes, and I have the 2 cd set of Bernard Herrmann TZ scores, but they have no track listings, but I have found the tracks, and will be renaming the files to upload this weekend!
Enjoy, William

Yes, that is an older link, ripped by someone else. I don’t like to take other people’s links without giving credit to the original poster, plus I wanted a fresh rip and a fresh link on Megaupload, so it could possibly last for years!!!

Watch out for the helicopter!
thanks for all the great uploads, looking forward to the rest of them 😀
Well, in regards to ALL the original series music, I have been looking HIGH and low for the DVDs with the isolated music score, and I have come up blank! The girl over at Best Buy tried to look it up on her computer, and saw a bunch of TZ DVDs, but nothing saying "Isolated scores"!!! Someone had spoken of this on the OLD thread before the "lockdown", and I was just wondering if it was only available on Blueray or HD, something like that.
Does anyone know?

KEWL!!!!
I will have to totally get those discs, and add a TON of links here!!! And, to answer the other question, NO, I didn’t get the tracks from a isolated track, some fellow on another board had grabbed those from a 5.1 DVD audio track, ran it thru two programs to remove talking and FX, and finally had to run it thru EQ to get the great sound. He did a hellafa job, IMHO!!
William
All links verified as fully functional!

William
My old library (before I moved) had the entire Twilight Zone set with isolated scores. I did about five of them before I got overwhelmed with the whole thing.
Well, could you please post those five up here? Anything new would be really welcomed by the group!
Many Thanks, William
William
Love to know what programs he used. Do you recall the site and screenname?
Btw, are any of the New TWZone uploads on the first page for the Dennis McCarthy cd, or Basil Poledarius promo/boots?
Here is the Dennis McCarthy cd (mp3). Four episodes were: Voices in the Earth, A Road less traveled, The Library, Quarantine (I imagine these are excerpts, not complete scores). I never scanned the inserts, though I might have included homemade ones here:

Yes, the one labeled "1983" has Poledouris’ 3 contributions to The Twilight Zone (1985.)
By the by, Robert Drasnin’s site has a button where you can play the music he composed from "Little Boy Lost," but for some reason I can’t get it to play on my machine.

Sorry, but those tracks are labeled the way that I got them, and the fellow who did that just named them like "Will the real martian please stand up" was named "WTRMPSU" !!! so, it is hard to figure out what the real episode name was.
As far as "Megaupload" is concerned, you have to go to their site, and download the "Megamanager" program. It helps you to upload your files quickly.
Good luck, William
Thanks. My downloads were two folders of mp3 files. One is supposedly the complete score for the episode "Profile in Silver"(28 tracks). The other contains cues for "A Message from Charity" and "Monsters." If these are different from the current uploads, I could upload them.
William
I identified one of them as "A Stop at Willoughby." It has 14 tracks. If I may say so, mine is better, because I include the opening and closing as well as a commercial break!

No Bernard Herrmann CD up yet.
I got my downloads from a blog when I was googling several months ago, not from here (which is why I was asking what was in these downloads). The blog was getting the links deleted, so blogger closed shop, but blogs are a good place to find soundtracks. You can see he had alot of interesting stuff: TV-Soundtracks: . Rats!! The three scores which have no title seem to be about nine minutes each, leading me to believe they’re actually parts of a larger score. The total is only 23 mins., not sixty, so it’s not "The Parallel." So I still know not what it is! Also, know not why "The Parallel" isn’t among them!
Has anyone here the original DVD release that Burndout mentions? Has Burndout it?
Momaru, maybe the mystery music is PARALLEL (or one of the other 7 episodes) with silence edited out.
What audio format are the uploads? 320 mp3? I can upload PARALLEL, but do you want the entire audio, or silence edited out?
Yes, please send me the isolated music from "The Parallel". Then I’ll compare it to the mystery tracks from this first page and see if it’s the same thing!
Sadly, there are a number of composed episode music scores that aren’t isolated or available anywhere.

Hey — can you rip to .ac3s?
Not sure what you mean – most dvd audio is ac3, so that’s what you get when you rip it. But you cant play that format on a cd player. How do you get your isolated tracks – recording them from the dvds?
I noticed there’s alot of dialog bleed-thru on this isolated track. It’s the whole 51 minutes, so you could remux it with the Definitive version episode so it’s on dvd:

Yeah.
What I meant was, could you convert it to a playable form? I used to extract the .ac3s with DVD audio extractor before my trial ran out. 🙁
I think not that I have any software that will do that. Have you? A nice playable version of the track (whether split or not; I can do that) would be nice! Thanks!
if you have a dvd drive in your PC, then you can rip the dvd audio and convert to different formats with various freeware programs. It’s quicker and lossless compared to analog-recording the audio from your dvd player. There is also freeware to remux (add audio/video/subtitles together) but there’s many steps involved. You can get help at Videohelp.com.
Since I already uploaded the ac3 (which I thought you were asking for), try free program DaudioK to convert it to wave or mp3.
DAudioK 0.1.9 beta – VideoHelp.com Downloads (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DAudioK)
Click on "Download (direct link)" near middle right of screen for download link, and unzip download. It needs to install on your PC.
If you want software which doesnt need to be installed, try BeLight with BeSweet.

BeSweet 1.5b31, GUI 0.7b4 – VideoHelp.com Downloads (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/BeSweet)
Download by clicking on the "Download (direct link)" near middle right of screen. Unzip them, and put Besweet folder into the Belight folder. To run, open the Belight folder and click on "Belight.exe."
The whole DVD thing would only work if I still had a library card at my old library! Thanks for the .ac3 to .mpg link!

I’ve tried all of those and none of them will allow me the separate left and right channels. The best I get is an .ac3 file that I can’t convert to anything!
Just curious, but what would you play a "AC3" file with?
William
William
No, No. I can’t get the score from a DVD that has no isolated score unless I extract the .ac3 and then separate the channels. I did that with DVD Audio Extractor and made some nice complete soundtracks for Outland and Tron. Unfortunately, the 30-day free trial ended the day I was ready to do _2010_.
So, then as I understand you correctly, there is no way to actually play a AC3 file, like you would with an MP3?
William
Correct. I’d rather someone had an .mp3 for me, but don’t want to request so much work.
momaru, THIRTY FATHOM GRAVE (both dvd releases) does NOT have an isolated score. There is only one ac3 audio, and it can be ripped with DVDdecryptor – I just put the disc in my drive, and can see the file. I suspect you aren’t demuxing the audio correctly, as it’s very tricky in DVDdecryptor. If you want, I can email you instructions. The problem with freeware is it’s often difficult to understand, and requires googling to get info on proper usage. If you dont want to spend the time researching, then buy that program you know will work (or find a cracked version if you dont want to pay for it).
DaudioK or Belight/Besweet should convert AC3 to other formats – I use Belight alot. Did you try them with THE PARALLEL audio I uploaded?
I never got BeSweet/BeLight to work on Tron (I’m using that as it’s one of the few DVDs I own) or any other programs. I got quite frustrated! I downloaded dBpoweramp and I’m trying that now.
Belight can convert AC3 to wave, etc.
Neither program both rips and converts simultaneously (and just to clarify, I didnt say they did). It’s a two step process.
The TWZone audio (Definitive) is 2 channel, not 5.1, so you’d have to edit around the complete audio if you want the music.
William
Nope, didn’t think you did. 🙂
The TWZone audio (Definitive) is 2 channel, not 5.1, so you’d have to edit around the complete audio if you want the music.
Ah. Well, I can still work around it, I’m sure! Though I had no luck trying that with Dr. Who.
William
Okay, well, my local library has got only ONE disc (Volume 6) of the definitive discs, so I ordered it! We will see what happens, should be here next week! They have another set, kinda wierd, only lists 4 or 5 episodes per disc, and it says something like "Disc 113, volume 2" on it! I don’t know what the hell the library system is doing, unless that was the actual CD designation from the studio.
I’ll let you know, as I had requested a couple of those as well.
William
However, it still is an isolated track, right?
William
William
Nope. As previously stated, that episode (30 fathom grave) does not have an isolated track, just the regular audio. Momaru then asked if that audio was 5.1, and I replied it was only 2 channel. If it were 5.1 (ie 5 channel) sometimes the dialog is on only one channel, so you can make a music/fx version from the other channels. Since it is 2 channel (ie the entire audio of dialog/music/fx mixed together), you’d have to edit out the dialog manually and thus deleting music played under it.
Inre BLuray, you need a bluray dvd rom in your PC to read the dvds digitally. Or you could make analog recordings from the bluray player while it plays the isolated music; there would be a quality drop, but it might be worth it for episodes which dont have an isoated track on the standard dvd version.
Those BASTARDS!! I just found out that NOBODY makes a DVD player for my laptop! I have a VERY nice external DVD-RW player for my Toshiba laptop, but when I went to Best Buy, the salesperson told me that there is no Blue-ray player available from anyone!!!
William
William
Looks like the standard TWZone dvds had like 60% isolated scores, and the Blurary have like 95%.
William, have you googled your particular laptop model with "external bluray" to see if anything comes up?
They’re expensive in general, but there are some tech online stores that can be cheaper, like Newegg.com.
Newegg.com – external bluray drive (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=external+bluray+drive&x=0&y=0)
Oh, I’m sure he’s all set with the residuals he must be getting from Star Wars and E.T.
He’s a little too young to be John Williams!
William
I cross-posted accidentally again. The suggestion that he’s John Towner Williams was from the "Official" Star Trek thread.
He doesn’t sound like John Wms., or at least as I would imagine he would sound.
Maybe he actually is William Taylor. I mean, everything he’s been saying could be a bluff, though that wouldn’t explain he access to the Star Trek TNG music with which he’s been providing us.
http://hotfile.com/dl/90567982/5e19654/Twilight_Zone_music.rar.html
William
You might try ripping the audio rather than recording it in real time. It’s quicker and lossless (no analog conversion).
such a shame, because SOMEBODY has to have the original music tracks somewhere! Anyway, I will post them up here when I get done!
William
Try inverting one track and mix it into mono, maybe that’ll remove what’s left of the voices.
William
I’m curious what exactly you mean by inverting. It’s 2 channel audio – I’m not sure if they’re identical (mono) channels to start with – are you suggesting separating the channels first, and "invert" one of them? What function/tool in a wave editor will invert a track?
"Vocal Remover" in DVD Audio Extractor does it.
With my WAV editor, I can check the left and right channels one at a time, and see if the background vocals are present it both. If not, I can tag the channel which has the clean music, and delete the other channel, then SWITCH the channels, and PASTE mix the tagged channel. Then I wind up with two channel MONO, to which I can run the spacial environment program, and add a concert hall effect.
William
However, these TWZone isolated audio are mono 2 channel – they might as well be 1 channel – so you cant fix them with the swapping channels technique.
I was thinking ComicsJoe meant you invert (reverse) the wave amplitude (along the X axis?), and the dialog might be canceled out when the two waves are added together. Although maybe everything would be canceled out with that method.
momaru, I dont see "Vocal remover" as a feature in Dvd Audio Extractor. Maybe it pops up if you’re dvd is 5 channel and its offering to eliminate the center channel (though I doubt it).
I was thinking about that, about 5 years ago, when George Martin was explaining why "Love me do" by the Beatles is only available in MONO, as it was only recorded that way. Now, of course, there is a discreet STEREO version of that song!!! Where did it come from? I have no idea! (And neither does George, hehehehehe)
William
What’s this? I thought on Verisimilitude had TOS music (He used Gold, BTW.)
Momaru, I dont see "Vocal remover" as a feature in Dvd Audio Extractor. Maybe it pops up if you’re dvd is 5 channel and its offering to eliminate the center channel (though I doubt it).
Oops, I was wrong, Audacity has the vocal remover.
Dont know what you’re referring to. I used Nero for some Trek:Tos music which I posted on page 2 of the Official Trek thread. I only mentioned Trek to illustrate what I used NERO for (when cross-swapping stereo channels). Didnt want to intermingle the two threads.
Well, I will have to give Audacity a try, and see if I can clean this up a bit. Has anyone downloaded the TZ tracks? Just curious how they sound. I spent a few hours getting those to sound good, would like some feedback, if I could.

I wish some of that high-end processing ware would trickle down to the average consumer price-range.
haven’t replied in here for a while but i’ve been keeping up with the discussion and i’m happy to see that there are several of you who are interested in ripping the isolated scores. i have 2 or 3 of the definitive edition dvds ripped onto my harddrive and i’m going to follow the instructions you guys have provided and try my hand and making a couple of rips with those programs. i’ll keep you guys posted and upload something as soon as it’s ready.

Looks like the Audacity Voice Remover (and simliar plugins) only work if the 2-channel audio is stereo (or each channel is different from the other) and the vocals are in the middle of the mix. Seems to be designed around pop music.

hey, i have audacity, cubase 5, and acid pro 7 installed. do you know if any of those particular programs are better suited for doing this easily? i’m probably going to try my hand at in with audacity but if you have any tips on making it sound better with those other progs, i’m all ears, so to speak

Well, with the isolated scores, all you have to do is just play the DVD, and select the audio track with music only! My disc came from the library, and was really scratched, and wouldn’t play without stalling and popping, so I just yanked the audio tracks, which was fairly simple with DVD audio extractor. I really wish the high end programs would trickle down as well, it would save us alot of time and effort, with fantastic results.
William
basically, you would take a dvd rip and just drag the file into a video editing program. it would then show the video and all audio on separate channels. this means all you need to do is erase all the tracks except for the isolated score and then export as an audio file. i did this once before to get an audio sample i wanted from a movie, and it was extremely easy

just curious, William
Total archive-size: about 1066MB for 50 Episodes = average 21,3 MB per score, that’s not much, right? 😉

Great uploads. I’ve been a Twilight Zone fan since I was a kid and stumbling across the 40th anniversary collection and this thread has been a Godsend.
I’ve looked through the older posts though, and I’m a bit confused. Does anyone have the scores for Nightmare at 20,000 Feet or Time Enough at Last? Many of these are great, but those two are essential I feel.
Thanks.

He did one episode. I made a list, which at the time I finished it, was the only listing on the web — not even IMDB had composers listed (somebody copied my incomplete listing from the time, to IMDB):
The New Twilight Zone (1985) (http://tvscoring.150m.com/TwilightZone.html)
Sorry for the late reply — late is better than never.
From the 1980’s series refered to as "The New Twilight Zone":

Let me know if it’s all okay.
So, if you all enjoyed that, ask and you shall recieve the other Basil score I mentioned.
Apparently, any links to ANY Herrmann score, since VS had released SOME of his music, will be deleted, regardless!

So this is the first part of a multi-upload project of Twilight Zone comics from the Dell/Gold Key era. This file contains the very first 12 Twilight Zone issues from Dell and, respectively, Gold Key. The first two were part of the "Four Color Series" from Dell Comics, which, besides these two Twilight Zone comics, featured licensed stories for several other tv shows of that era (Dr. Kildare, Fury, 77 Sunset Strip, Elmer Fudd, to name just a few). The next two were the start of a separate Twilight Zone series under the Dell imprint, which, unfortunately, run only for two issues. After that, Gold Key got the license and started all over again, which its own No. 1. In this file, you’ll find issues 01-08. More to follow soon, so stay tuned…

If anybody is interested, here is a short history about the Twilight Zone Comic series (from Wikipedia):
************************************************** ******************************************
Western Publishing published a Twilight Zone comic book, first under their Dell Comics imprint for 4 issues, one in 1961 and 3 further issues in 1962, with the first two published as part of their long running Four Color anthology series as issue numbers 1173 and 1288, and then two further one shots numbered separately in Dell’s unique fashion as 01-860-207 and 12-860-210 (numbered as 01-860-210 on the inside) respectively. Western then restarted the series under their Gold Key imprint with a formal issue #1, which ran 92 issues from 1962 to 1979, with the final issue being published in 1982.
Several of the stories would be reprinted in their Mystery Comics Digest, which mentioned the title on the covers. A wide range of artists worked on the title, including Jack Sparling, Reed Crandall, Lee Elias, George Evans, Russ Jones, Joe Orlando, Jerry Robinson, Mike Sekowsky, Dan Spiegle, Frank Thorne and Alex Toth.
************************************************** **************************************
According to the Wikipedia article, there were 92 issues printed under the Gold Key imprint; other sources in the internet only mention 91 issues. This is the story behind issue #92 (from the Twilight Zone Wiki):
************************************************** **************************************************
The Twilight Zone comic series was moved to the Whitman imprint of Western Publishing after the company’s Gold Key imprint was discontinued. Only one issue was produced, consisting of stories previously printed in The Twilight Zone #1 (Gold Key) roughly twenty years before. The issue, #92, was published in May 1982.
Soon after, Western Publishing sold all properties to the Mattel company which, in turn, sold it only two years later. The new owners, Golden Books Family Entertainment, focused on children’s books and dissolved nearly all adult or mature properties left over from Western Publishing. Most licensed properties have since been acquired by other companies, including the Twilight Zone comic series, which was next published by NOW Comics in 1991.
************************************************** ************************************************** *
For the completists, I have included just the cover of issue # 92, which was newly drawn in 1982. It’s interesting to see that the quality and style of the cover paintings have changed in the early 80ies, and, in my opinion, to the worse! Here you can see the difference between cover #1 and #92, which shows, basically, the same scene!
That’s all for now from me.
Best regards,
Soundtrekker
Thanks again.
William
There was originally 13 volumes released with 10 episodes per volume, those have been selling for 10.00 a set which is a great price but they have sold out 6 or 7 of the 10 volumes already.
Although all shows are now available as digital downloads at $1.95 an episode including the new shows they have been releasing only as digital downloads.
There is somewhere around 180 shows available now.

There is a Wikipedia article on the radio series:
The Twilight Zone (radio series) – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Twilight_Zone_%28radio_series%29)
I have 140 of those 180 shows (vol. 1 – 14) and will upload them shortly. They are 64 kbps only, though, 15-25 MB each, that would constitute about 10 episodes per upload (I have a 200 MB limit per upload on 2shared.com).
I haven’t played much of them yet, but after sampling a few of the first radio shows, I found out that, interestingly, they use Bernard Herrmann’s original scores from The Twilight Zone, which is quite wonderful!
Edit: According to the Wikipedia entry, there are 172 radio shows (vol. 18 consists of only 2 shows, but maybe the entry isn’t complete?).
Nevertheless, I’m going to upload the first batch shortly, stay tuned…

I have a few of the Twilight Zone Radio shows in 320K, they were ripped directly from the CD’s but they are huge files, 88-90MB for each episode and the sound quality although better is not that much better to warrant taking up that much room.
64K files like you stated are about 15-25MB much nicer to work with.
Yes, when playing those 64K mp3 files, it’s astonishing how good they sound, even without able to compare them directly to a 320K file.
After searching the internet, I found this:
.TWILIGHT.ZONE.RADIO.DRAMAS-128K) "84.Twilight.Zone.Radio.Dramas.128K"
a.b.sounds.audiobooks by ATi2D (+) on Nov-19-2008 (1302 days)
[63 Archive Files: 63 12,503 p] [3 Par2 Files: 3 4 p] Activity: few Complete, no problem foundSimiliar Search[ 3.00 GB ] in [66/79] files
This can be downloaded from the old usenet, and it’s a batch of 84 shows only, maybe vol. 1-7 and a few of vol. 8, or it’s a "Best-of" of all the volumes, I’m not sure (don’t have any information regarding the contents of the file). I’m going to download them, just to compare them to the 64K version.
The question now is, is there anybody who knows of a link (or can upload) vol. 15-18?
In the meantime, I will continue with uploading what I have (the 64K files of vol. 2-14, that is).
Stay tuned…

You’re welcome, William. Hope your externals aren’t full yet. Or should I wait until Christmas, when your "bessere H???lfte", as we say in Germany (meaning "better half" = wife) will buy you a new 1T (or 2T?) drive as a Christmas present? LOL
Regarding my sleep… You know, I’m living in another dimension, a dimension where sleep is unknown… there is a highway to it. This highway leads to the shadowy tip of reality; you’re on a through route to the land of the different, the bizzare, the unexplainable… Go as far as you like on this road. Its limits are only those of the mind itself. Ladies and gentlemen, you’re entering the wondrous dimension of imagination. Next stop – THE TWILIGHT ZONE.
This, btw, is a Twilight Zone opening by Rod Serling, never used (quote in bold letters!)!

There was a joke magazine created about 20 years ago, which was called "Pethouse", obviously a parody of "Penthouse", and they had interviews and questions and answers of their celebs, one of which was Rod Serling. Every answer he gave were all very vague and totally not on subject, which was completely funny, as you could see Rod saying something like that, in his "Twilight zone" voice. Like, for example, the question "What do you think of the current administration in the white house today?" His answer would have been something like "Submitted for your consideration, one United States President who is about to experience confusion and lack of positive direction, when his subordinates misdirect him towards any special interest program that they currently are supporting" Something like that, it was really funny, but I’m
not getting even close to the answers that were printed in that magazine. I don’t know who the writer was, but it REALLY read like something that Rod would have said!
Wish that I had kept a copy of that magazine, or at least those few pages, it was a total crackup!
William
That sounds great… I can hear Rod’s fantastic, distinguished voice right now, when reading that quote of yours!
You didn’t say "Thank you, SIR, may I have another!" Hehehehehe
You have to say the quote correctly to get another! 🙂
"How can you get your pudding, if you don’t eat your MEAT?"
William

THE TWILIGHT ZONE RADIO DRAMAS | HOME (http://www.twilightzoneradio.com/)
Yes, I know that link. When clicking on the link for the individual episodes (THE TWILIGHT ZONE RADIO DRAMAS | VOLUMES (http://www.twilightzoneradio.com/individual.html)), the list stops right where my uploads end, but according to the blog on that site, there are already several episodes produced since then. Apparently, they were (and are) just broadcast up until now and are not (yet) for official download, right? Or they hadn’t updated the store yet, and the latest episodes can be bought, after all. Is there somewhere a complete list of all episodes produced up until now? I didn’t find one.
nevermind… i need to learn to read…
http://www.tvrage.com/The_Twilight_Zone_1985/episodes/212893
Yes, that’s the link with all the episodes available for purchase (that’s exactly the link I’ve hyperlinked in my post!), but what I’m looking for on that site is a short list with all the episodes produced so far! Yeah, I know, I could scroll through the latest blog entries and make that list myself, but, you know what: I’m just too lazy for that! 😉
And don’t you worry for hi-jacking William’s site – I have the feeling he doesn’t mind at all. After all, he was like going crazy, when he saw what I was going to upload here… 😉

The Twilight Zone Season 1 Episode 3 – Wordplay | The Twilight Zone 1×3 (http://www.tvrage.com/The_Twilight_Zone_1985/episodes/212893)
That’s a link to the tv show from the 80ies. Episode guides for all the various Twilight Zone tv incarnations (1959-64, 1985-89, 2002-03) are easy to find, but a radio show guide seems hard to get, apparently.
(One of the best TV guides online is this, btw: epguides.com – Main Menu Page (http://epguides.com/))
(One of the best TV guides online is this, btw: epguides.com – Main Menu Page (http://epguides.com/))
😀 😉 I know it’s a link to the 80s incarnation of the Twilight Zone, i just thought it was an appropriate link considering my difficulties with the words in your post 😛 as you will see if you click the link. And epguides – i use it all the time. I know someone that was a member of a site that only had torrents for radio-shows. Perhaps someone there could point us to a radio show guide… i’ll check.
Oh, now I see… yes, I know that episode, it’s really funny. Now it’s my turn to concede I have to learn to read more carefully! 😉
BTW, I have scans of a handful of Twilight Zone books that might be of interest. I know this is a forum for soundfiles first, but since I already shared my TZ Comics collection, I see no reason to stop there. So this is what I could offer:
– The Twilight Zone Companion (by Marc Scott Zicree, 1982) (pdf and jpg-scans)
– Rod Serling – The Twilight Zone Complete Stories (epub only)
– Dimensions Behind the Twilight Zone (by Stewart T. Stanyard, 2007) (pdf and jpg-scans)
those would be most welcome, if you could upload them and post links! 🙂
William
– Philosophy in The Twilight Zone, ed. by Noel Carroll and Lester H. Hunter (2009); that’s a fascinating collection of 12 essays from various authors, commenting on the tv show (pdf)
– Twilight Zone Magazine, vol. 1 no. 2 (from May 1981, as a .cbr file, which, as you may know or not, can be re-named to .rar to be unpacked into jpg’s of the magazine pages.)

I’ve been searching and searching… and nowhere can i find any info that there are more radio show episodes than those that you have put up here, soundtrekker. And it’s hard to even find a date when that last one was aired.
Volume 17 & 18 were recorded in 2010 and aired through 2011.
Not quite right, as I already pointed out earlier: In this blog
The Twilight Zone Radio Dramas (http://twilightzoneradio.blogspot.de/)
you can find informations on all the TZ radio shows produced and aired after #172 – you just have to read all the entries carefully, starting with January, 2011, to find the various infos on production and air times of episodes #173 and later, including the titles of the new dramas. There is an entry for May 21, 2011, e.g., that reads:
Coming up next, don’t miss the brand new TZ radio drama "The 25th Hour" written by Dennis Etchison and starring the incredible Mike Nussbaum.
That seems to be Prod.# 173, the first episode missing in my uploads. Going on to the more recent entries, you will find more titles – according to the site, they are producing about one per month, so there should be about 15 new shows by now… if they keep their schedule, that is! 😉
Edit: After reading the blog again, I could only find 3 or 4 new titles for the TZ radio drama mentioned in the blog up until Feb., 2012, so they seem to have slowed down with the production, apparently!
Hopefully someone here knows about these new recordings! (hint, hint, soundtrekker!) 🙂
William
Hopefully someone here knows about these new recordings! (hint, hint, soundtrekker!) 🙂
William
Sounds like the same series as this one, some of the Twilight Zone Radio Drama episodes are new, Twenty Twelve, And Cauldron Bubble,Snow Angel, are all new stories and they use Bernard Herrmann’s original music as well.
Hopefully someone here knows about these new recordings! (hint, hint, soundtrekker!) 🙂
William
Very interesting! Which site did you find those dead links? I’ve never heard about a competing company with their own stories. And, I doubt that there is someone else with an official license for new stories who also is allowed to use Bernhard Herrmann’s original score! I rather think that those old RS links include stories from the official radio site, which are included already in my upload. (You may prove me wrong!). And, according to the official site, they have produced new stories and used Herrmann’s original score, so that fits.
Anyway, here is something else I wanted to share. Nothing spectacular, just a rar file of ALL the covers of the Official Twilight Zone Magazine from the 80ies (72 covers):

Ah, now I see: those are fan-made audio-books of stories who originally were published in the anthology "Twilight Zone: 19 Original Stories on the 50th Anniversary" (edited by Rod Serling’s wife, Carol), which was released by Tor Books in 2009. There’s even a wikipedia entry for it: Twilight Zone: 19 Original Stories on the 50th Anniversary – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twilight_Zone:_19_Original_Stories_on_the_50th_Ann iversary)
And here is the amazon-link: Amazon.com: Twilight Zone: 19 Original Stories on the 50th Anniversary (9780765324337): Carol Serling: Books (http://www.amazon.com/Twilight-Zone-Original-Stories-Anniversary/dp/0765324334/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1285592666&sr=1-2)
Both of the stories in your links are free available on youtube:
"Genesis" The Twilight Zone: "Genesis" Audiobook – Part 1/2 (Fan-Made) – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLci8fGrOsU&feature=channel&list=UL)
"A Haunted House on Her Own": The Twilight Zone: "A Haunted House of Her Own" Audiobook – Part 1/3 (Fan-Made) – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=deQHLagNFxw)
Those are the only two adapted audio books from that anthology produced so far, but the third is already announced. It’s "Torn Away". You can find more on the producers blog: Heroic Efforts Productions (http://heroic-efforts.blogspot.de/)
So, these are not new radio dramas, but just adaptations of written material published in print before! Nevertheless, very interesting, especially for those who don’t have the book on their shelf!
I’ve been looking all over for any Ebooks from Carol Serling, and cannot find them anywhere. Do you know of any?
Here’s today’s new music link:

Oh, and BTW, I just got another PM, and I wanted to advise ALL of you people, that I am "a Poser", I know NOTHING about the movie industry, never worked there, and I only sell "movie props" on Ebay! Heheheehe:) the Ebay username account will be forthcoming, so we can all go over to Ebay and check out all of my auctions! 🙂
Yeah, sure… 😉
BTW, I’ll be gone for about 19 days, I’ll be on vacation. Will be back for sure, William, so please keep this fantastic thread (and your Star Trek thread, of course) alive, and don’t bother all those Unbelievers doubting your tales about the industry! Keep them coming, they are always interesting reading! And maybe, when I’m back, you can present us all the remaining original TOS scores, directly given to you by your "friend", Neil Norman! (One can hope…)
I would LOVE to provide all the TOS scores that remain out there, somewhere. I had hammered Neil about these, when we were still even on speaking terms, and he denied that he even had them, and then I tried to get some of the people around him to even get crappy cassette copies, which Neil wouldn’t even allow THEM to have! Amazing. He won’t release them officially, and won’t allow even his close personal friends and employees to even have a cassette. What a FREAKING wanker! 🙁
I would say "When monkeys fly out of my ass", but I remember that scene in "Bruce Almighty", so I will NOT be saying that! Hehehe
I was really hoping that this little TROLL would come across with a Ebay username that would prove that he’s just pissing in the wind, but it looks like he’s taken the silent approach again, as usual. I really thought that he said he was going away for 3 months, and we could enjoy the site again….
Oh, well! 🙂
William
William
Oh, BTW, I just got another PM with the "Proof" of who I am! Apparently some jerk who was ticked off by my posting all the Disney stuff, who lives down in Florida, put a post on his private blog down there, connecting Williamtaylor1969, with a couple of other names, with completely no proof of any connection at all. He came up with the connection of Williamtaylor1969 to "Greg Stone", because on IMDB.com, it said that Greg Stone is writing a novel entitled "Will Taylor….." (something). NOT William Taylor, or Willtaylor1969! I went over to his profile on IMDB.com, and saw NOTHING about any book named "Will Taylor" at all! Just checked it again, just now! Nothing. I went over to Ebay to check out the username there also, and could not find ANY combination of any of the usernames, I tried various different ways of entering it. Under the exact username he gave, nothing!
For the record, people, my real name is NOT William Taylor (Gasp!)
This last little bit of illogic really convinces me of how little this person really knows about anything! I thought that he was a young boy, to begin with, but then found out that he’s actually something like 45 years old, with a fat ugly wife, and kids, and so I’m starting to wonder about his state of mental health, or lack thereof!
Just another rant from someone who will not share anything here, and totally hates the fact that so many people share soundtracks and other stuff here, and wants to attack one of the larger sharers here. Why he targeted me, other than sharing "HIS" 1999 sound effects, is beyond me. But he came on here, right after that, and
started tearing into me, time and again, with baseless taunts and foundationless facts! Since he admitted that his current username is actually a sockpuppet of his original username, which only has 1 post to it, I don’t see why he cannot be banned for using a sockpuppet account. It would be banned on any other site!
William
By the way, tell how you really feel! Go for it!
https://hotfile.com/dl/163763959/8fc2868/The_Bard.rar.html
Enjoy, William
Any posts by "He who must not be named", if and when they appear, are on my IGNORE list, and will not be replied to by me. So, if you feel the need to reply, PLEASE don’t "quote" his rants or harassing comments, because then they won’t be invisible! It’s a loophole in the system, so he can get his comments read by everyone who has him on their ignore list.
Apparently there is no way to really ban this troll, even though he apparently has several sockpuppet accounts with different IPS addresses.
Anyway, let’s just enjoy all the LLL and FSM new releases and others as well, and concentrate on all the positive stuff we can share!
Speaking of which, here’s todays share:

What a FANTASTIC idea, Calidoran. That is alot of effort to put in on this project. I just hope people will appreciate it, when they hear what you have done! Having recorded tracks from DVDs in the past, I know what a chore it is, so I can understand where you are coming from.
Just great! Thanks 🙂

Well… not exactly recording 🙂 ripping. As in extracting the original AC3-file from the disc and then converting it to a wav-file for further editing in (insert the audio-editing program of your choice here). Which by no means is a matter of just inserting the disc and voila – there are the FLAC-files, ready and waiting. I hope the end result will be worth it in any case.

The quality of these aren’t great to start with, remember they are from 1959 and onward. I’ve tried cleaning them up as best i could from noise and also some speech and SFX. Even though this is supposed to be an isolated score, they are there although very faint, but you could still hear them on occassion. Enjoy nevertheless 🙂

I know this is probably not even related to Twilight Zone and it certainly has nothing to do with the music, but… there is an episode that i can’t get out of my head. I remember seeing it twice, both a long time ago in another galaxy far far away… ehhh, no. Sorry 😉 Anyway, my hope was that someone will read this and perhaps be able to answer. The episode was in the Twilight Zone format: a short story with an unusual twist at the end. And it was in black and white. So i thought it might be from Twilight Zone. Here’s what i can remember from the story:
A young girl is sick in bed, late in the year. Somehow she relates her illness to a tree outside her window. Whenever a leaf falls from the tree, she gets worse and when the last leaf will fall, she will die. A close friend to the family is an artist. Even though it’s snowing outside and freezing cold, he gets out in the middle of the night to paint the last leaf on the wall of the house next to the tree. This is to fool the girl that the leaf is still there and thus keeping her alive. In the process the artist gets ill instead and dies, but the girl survives (my memory might fail me, but this is how i remember it).
I’ve searched everywhere for info of this episode, wanting to know what TV-show it is and if it’s possible to find it somewhere as it made a huge impression on me as a young boy when i watched it the first time. I later saw it when i was in my mid 20s and i remember how glad i was that i got to see it once more, BUT stupid as i am, i didn’t "remember to remember" what episode or TV-series it was. Can anyone help me!? I would be very grateful 🙂

That may very well be an anthology movie with 5 stories from 1952 called "Full House". One of the 5 stories is "The Last Leaf" which seems to be the one you’re looking for:
Full House (1952) – IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0044981/)
It’s also on youtube!
O Henry’s Full House (1952) (1/19) Anne Baxter & Marilyn Monroe – Opening Credits & Intro – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q10izkMlXP0)
(part 1 of 19)
"The Last Leaf" begins with part 8 (and ends with part 11 of 19):
O Henry’s Full House (1952) (8/19) Anne Baxter & Marilyn Monroe – The Last Leaf – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jD3r1ZKW7Q)
Hope this is the one you remember. Let me know!

p.s. "The Last Leaf" really starts at the end of part 7 with the introduction to the story!

Thanks for the 57%, that’s acceptable. 😉
As for the young girl aging in your memory: the real life history of your relation to this movie almost seems to be a story from the Twilight Zone in itself, so in the end, the last 10 posts somehow do belong in this thread, after all! 🙂

pass: 5thdimension
(Note: Episode 160 = track 10 of CD 16 was joined with my upload of CD 17 – see my original post on page 10, post #232!)
Note: isolated audio formats on the Bluray were: Season 1 in AC3, later seasons in PCM 48 khz.
Ripped to PC. While it’s quick to edit out the gaps, it takes alot of time to fix the volume levels. If people dont want to wait for my edits (could take years since it takes me several hours to fix one show), I could upload them as is. Then folks could edit as they please. In the meantime, I will post them as I get to them.
Edited in Wave 44.1 khz, lossless compressed to Flac.
A single FLAC file upload means the episode track was all non-diegetic.
A folder upload means there was unrelated diegetic music, so the track was cut up into separate cues; you can skip over the diegetic tracks, rename them to go at the end, or delete them.

There’s an extraordinary website where much of the music of each episode is identified. Very handy for figuring out who composed those moments we love in stock-scored episodes:
Musical Cues in Classic Twilight Zone Forum (http://twilightzonewor.fr.yuku.com/topic/4163/Musical-Cues)
CBS EZ Cue Library list. After finding the composer/cue names in the Forum above, then search this list to find out if it’s available in the Reel-Reel/LP library:

I’d like to hear the Poledorius music from ‘Profile in Silver." A file I got from here that I thought had the music is in fact an AVI file of the entire episode.
Does anyone have the music?

Since the old Twilight Zone scores from dvd have been edited and uploaded before, my rips are probably not a big deal. But I had the impression there might be a need for them when I read Ultraman’s lament about dead links.
Did anyone figure out the deal with the Basil Poledorius downloads – Monsters/Charity versus Profile in Silver? The downloads I have (from another blog) seem to have the same content, although the track size and order vary.

Seems so, but there is a lot of hiss on "Profile". They are obviously from the same episode, and no… I have no f***ing idea what that episode is.
Update: Found "Message" on youtube. The tracks are from that episode.

Random comparison of several cues from both folders "A Message from Charity"+"Monsters!" in one and "Profile in Silver" in the other shows a lot of duplication. Don’t know yet if all are duplicated…
But THANK YOU to all for getting them "out there" so we could know!

I’d be curious to find out (from anyone) if the Monster/Charity cues are essentially the same as the Profile in Silver cues.
I just compared them track-for-track and the tracks that are SUPPOSEDLY from "Profile in Silver" are the same tracks as in the other file "A Message from Charity"/"Monsters!"
I wonder how the music came to be incorrectly labeled as being from "Profile"?
One mystery solved, fifty gazillion to go!

Would it be possible for someone to re-upload the "Twilight Zone Comics – No. 78-84" that soundtrekker posted on page #9 (post #204) of this thread?
For some reason, the 2shared link doesn’t work for that batch of comics, I keep getting a "Browser can’t find the server" error and I’ve tried three different browsers, so the link is dead.
If anyone can re-up that batch of comics (No.78-84), I’d greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance and keep up the great work.
This site is amazing!

Hey, William, if you don’t know where to put all those files: Why don’t you just put it … into THE TWILIGHT ZONE? LOL
Meanwhile, here is another batch of stories from the TWILIGHT ZONE, submitted for your approval, as always! Enjoy!

If noone uploads it, there are torrents for the comics, as well as Mobilism where you can download them individually but you have to wait a minute, enter a captcha for each one, so very time consuming: http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?p=696064

I have 172 Episodes but I’m missing the last 4 from Vol.18.
Does anyone have these?
Volume 18
This collection was only released as an online digital download, rather than on CD.
"Missing, Presumed Dead" – Starring: Danny Goldring
"Rest Stop" – Starring Brandon Eels
"The 25th Hour" – Starring Mike Nussbaum
"Another Place in Time" – Starring Malcolm McDowell
that was delicious
thanx really a lot
cheers
Is "other sources" an episode title ?.
just as retail CD forums dont like discussions of bootlegs, maybe he thinks this bootleg site wont tolerate discussions of retail copies. 😉
Typically the original episode music is represented as one complete track (on LP and CDs). Is the request for someone to edit out that cue from a CD/LP and upload it? But if it was used, why isnt it on the dvd iso? The McNeely re-record has the cues separated:
1. Main Title (01:22)
2. The Man (00:46)
3. The Door (00:40)
4. The Truck (01:47)
5. The Telephone (00:47)
6. The Phone Booth (01:00) etc.
Can you say where the cue occurs in the episode? Does it correspond with cue 4 below? You would probably need the McNeely to identify it for certain. The original music on CD is not in the right order so it wont match the McNeely list above. I played the first 8 minutes of the blu and here’s what I found:
1. Main Title (credits music)
2. Cafe radio Music (on the iso but probably not Herrmann)
3. Bumper cue at end of scene (about 20 seconds)
4. Music as he leaves cafe and walks to town (about 44 seconds). MISSING from iso.
5. Music as he checks storefront doors, and approaches truck with mannequin (about 1:40 minute).
I have no idea why it’s not on the isolated score.
I also don’t know why "Time Passage" which is "The Outer Space Suite" track 2, isn’t on any of the commercial releases. I did find it on YouTube however.
Again, can you tell us if the cue is in the episode and where? Is it cue 4 Cafe exit/walk to town?
Here’s another cue list at bottom of page 21 (DAT reference on page 15). So I guess it wasnt reused later in the episode? The music seems very repetitive, which is why I wonder. It could be released since it’s on DAT (digital audio tape).
http://www.filmscorerundowns.net/herrmann/cbs_years.pdf
I remember asking about "Time Passage" and thought someone said it was included in one of the Western Suites (Prometheus cds), but maybe its not. It wasnt on the LP release of the Suite, so maybe later releases are unknowingly continuing the omission. The music is available on DAT so it could be included in future releases.
Mentioned on bottom of page 3 (DAT reference on page 11)
http://www.filmscorerundowns.net/herrmann/cbs_years.pdf
I think Bill Wrobel (author of the above pdf), or someone else at the Bernard Herrmann website, uploaded a bunch of cues in mp3. I downloaded them awhile back, but dont have them in front of me right now. Time Passage might have been among them.
I’m reminded how Tristram Carey’s sheet music is available in a library — in Sydney.
Musical Cues in Classic Twilight Zone Forum (http://twilightzonewor.fr.yuku.com/topic/4163/Musical-Cues#.UkdtIYasiSo)
THIRD FROM THE SUN cue list – doesnt explain why TIME PASSAGE wasnt released (maybe they discuss it in the forum), but does note its absence, and how the episode excerpts compare. Almost the entire cue is represented, and is lossless on the bluray.
http://twilightzonewor.fr.yuku.com/sreply/97749/Musical-Cues
oh, you’re welcome. I’m almost done with "Living Doll" by Herrmann. Unfortunately has alot of dialog bleed.
So all that Bernard Herrmann music is on DATs just waiting for release, huh? And I could hear it,if I went to California.
woohoo, road trip!! Or you could go to the website I mentioned and play the MP3s. They get saved in your browser cache temporarily, so you can simply move them to another folder before they’re deleted. These were uploaded by Bill Wrobel.
There’s two TIME PASSAGE cues at the bottom of the CBS AUDIO 1 page (link below). The site has a link to a 2nd page of cues ("CBS AUDIO 2"). Some cues are just rips from actual TV episodes.
CBS AUDIO 1:
Herrmann CBS Legacy ? The Bernard Herrmann Society (http://www.bernardherrmann.org/articles/herrmann-cbs-legacy/2/)
I was looking thru the Herrmann forum there for info about the missing DOOR in "Where is everybody" and saw a review for the 4-cd set.
BHS: Talking Herrmann (http://herrmann.uib.no/talking/view.cgi?forum=thGeneral&topic=208)
The "Where is everybody" suite was not complete or in order. Bill identified most of the cues, except three. DOOR is probably not one of them (judging from the runtime), so still awol:
0:00 "The Film" cue # 1574
0:45 "The Men" cue # 1563
1:26 ?
2:40 "The Truck"cue # 1565
4:17 "The Breakdown"# 1576
4:58 "The Bicycle" # 1575
5:27 "The Book Rack"# 1572
6:56 ?
7:50 "The Phone Book"# 1567
8:27 "The Sun" # 1570
9:43 "The Button" # 1577
10:28 ?
The unidentified cues are likely one of the following in descending order:
"The Station" # 1568
"The Call" # 1569
"The Mirror" # 1571
"The Lights" # 1573
"The Door" # 1564
"The Telephone"# 1566
I got a season 2 DVD today so I’m all set.

Wait … LLL has a new box coming that may be a TZ box? Do we know this for sure?
If so, then put me on the waiting list (yes, I’ll actually buy it!)!
I have 172 Episodes but I’m missing the last 4 from Vol.18.
Does anyone have these?
Volume 18
This collection was only released as an online digital download, rather than on CD.
"Missing, Presumed Dead" – Starring: Danny Goldring
"Rest Stop" – Starring Brandon Eels
"The 25th Hour" – Starring Mike Nussbaum
"Another Place in Time" – Starring Malcolm McDowell
I’m missing them too. I’ll find them in the next couple of days and will upload and send you a PM.

According to the official site (THE TWILIGHT ZONE RADIO DRAMAS | HOME (http://www.twilightzoneradio.com/)), # 176 was the latest episode produced. More were planned, but apparently not yet realized:
"As far as NEW episodes of TWILIGHT ZONE, we are planning on ramping that up later this year. We hope to have several for you by then."
(from the latest blog, dated August 9, 2012).
Does anybody know more about it? Or was this blog entry written before the final episodes, referring to the latest bunch of episodes?

Furthermore, I plan to scan and upload the follow-up series published by "NOW Comics", which began to publish The Twilight Zone comics in 1991, premiering with an issue written by Harlan Ellison and illustrated by Neal Adams. The series continued for three volumes and numerous specials before ending in 1993. If I counted correctly, 22 individual issues were released finally. I haven’t yet found scans for them on the internet, so I guess some of you Zone fans might be interested in them.
Here you can find cover scans of the first 11 issues:
Twilight Zone (Volume) – Comic Vine (http://www.comicvine.com/twilight-zone/4050-26608/)
Here are more cover scans of some of the later issues:
GCD :: Covers :: The Twilight Zone (http://www.comics.org/series/21429/covers/)
Finally, there’s another publisher (Dynamite Comics) who has started a new monthly series of Twilight Zone comics (Dynamite??? The Twilight Zone (http://www.dynamite.com/htmlfiles/viewProduct.html?CAT=DF-The_Twilight_Zone)). They are very well drawn, and on top of that, written by no other than J. Michael Straczynski (of "Babylon 5" fame), who had already worked on the Twilight Zone series from the 80ies! The first issue has already been scanned and distributed by the usual people (the well-known "0-Day Week of…" torrents, which contain the latest comics releases, for those who use torrents or the usenet). If torrents and usenet are not the way for you, I can re-upload the Dynamite comics here, as soon as they are available. This is the first issue:
https://mega.co.nz/#!WVRhwKJD!MikKBQWC8csyQNP4ONHhiloxM5ZfcK_BR5E0am9 0GPo
Let me know if there’s interest at all for all three publishings (re-uploading the Gold Keys, scanning and uploading the NOW Comics, continuing with the Dynamite comics, as soon as they are released). If your response is positive on any or all of the three, I’ll continue with it!

hi again
I don’t want to appear ungrateful as I’m not, but it is really hard to understand what you have posted here
a lot of it appears to be mixed media FLAC or mp3 sets of things previously posted but without any documentation
it’ll take weeks to figure this out
I certainly didn’t see 13 cds
there is a set number of 14 and one of 15, but also 1.2.5.6.7.8 all of varying lenghts and bitrates
any chance of helping clarify where and what these all are/come from?
anyway will get pleasure from listening so thanx again for sharing, but you have also added quite a bit of confusion
cheers
there are also numerous duplicate files within this 8 link set and perhaps a few mislabeled files as well (I don’t have more time to compare them now) for sure 98% of sets 1.2.5.6.7 are previously posted here seperately by episode (FLAC) or as part of a 3 cd (mp3) set called the "twilight zone 50 episodes" as I compared them just now
I just watched the Second and Third Seasons of the "new" TZ (the revival beginning in 1985). A few of them had more than adequate music, though many were more similar to aural wallpaper. ‘Tis a fine line between notable background music and intrusiveness!
Another observation about the music is how representative of "mainstream pop 1980s" sound some of it was. And always not in a good way.
For those of us nosy ones, our love of learning the background of the music makes us readymade consumers … sounds great!

Hey Greg, I shared these files above in post #378. The music IS NOT from "Profile in Silver," it is from two other New TZ segments, with music also by Polidouris — "A Message from Charity" and "Monsters!"
The files you just shared HAVE been labeled in the past as being from "Profile in Silver," they are not. I’ve watched the episodes recently, just so I could solve this issue. The music you just shared is from the other two segments. "Profile in Silver" ALSO had music from Polidouris; but "Profile in Silver" was not the only New TZ segment Polidouris composed music for.

If you mean Calidoran, do you mean the radio shows or episode music? If music, I’ve only seen one episode rip in this thread. He randomly posted a few in his personal thread here: Thread 113650
Scoreboss and I have uploaded several isolated score rips. Mine are from blu-ray, not sure if scoreboss are from dvd or bluray.
I doubt they made a new rip of the music elements since the isolated Season 1 blu-ray are the same AC3 format as the Definitive dvds. That said, the end theme is the standard version. According to the Cafe (and I believe they’re going by the cue sheets), the alternative end theme was nearly identical to the alternate opening theme:
"There is a corresponding closing theme that’s identical except for the addition of a measure, but this isn’t even on DE."
we must have the same blu-ray release!
"There is a corresponding closing theme that’s identical except for the addition of a measure, but this isn’t even on DE."
Which measure is that, I wonder?
I guess 🙂 i ordered all 5 seasons from amazon, was way cheaper than buying them here
email them and find out. In fact, you probably should ask most of your questions there first.
Maybe I’ll write to CBS about "Turkish Delight."

sigh…you quoted the information from the Twilight Zone Cafe. They are the experts, so ask them directly.
there’s the original edition, and a revised edition. You might want to specify which you have.
I have a pdf of the first edition (the impressum states "December 1982"), and page 41 is where it should be. If you want I could upload it for you.
Does anyone know if there is any significant difference between the first and second edition? For instance, a new introduction/editiorial, or some additions/revisions? Could someone upload a copy of the "second edition"?
