30 Tracks @320
Thank you for catching the mistake with track #22. It should be "Cannons Calvary", Track #28 is titled correctly.

Same quality encode, minor fixes to tags, slightly better-quality cover.

oh man, thanks for this! Now I dont have to re-tag the geo score’s version! So many mirrors… thanks!
Does that mean, this 30-track version is some kind of official? I have around 5 different versions of the score, from 1CD to 2CDs with different durations and track titles.
I suppose that the version shared here is official, VGMdb currently has it listed as ‘Enclosure’ (http://vgmdb.net/album/7697). The other versions you have are probably game-rips, Game-OST does have one in its database (http://www.game-ost.com/albums/455/gun_game_rip/). Maybe someone could e-mail Mr. Lennertz, asking for some clarification on the source of this album? While I do own this, I’ve got my copy from a seller on eBay…. Didn’t bother to ask him at the time.
EDIT:
Checked a .wav spectrum out of curiosity, the tracks on the disc are lossless-sourced. The origin of this is unlikely to be a game-rip, unless the PC version makes use of lossless tracks, of course.
Anyway; thanks greatly for release! Better than version I had.

Wait, you actually got a copy of the original soundtrack? What I have to know is this, is it 30 tracks or 12 tracks. From what I have heard, the "official" CD soundtrack is only 12 songs long. Actually, I personally have a hard time believing any official soundtrack exists. The only places I have seen any clue as to what the soundtrack is like are here:
Gun- Soundtrack details – SoundtrackCollector.com (http://www.soundtrackcollector.com/catalog/soundtrackdetail.php?movieid=80741)
Gun (Video Game Score) (http://users.telenet.be/soundtrack-fm/Reviews/Christopher_Lennertz/gun/gun.htm)
As you can see, there is no official label or agency that this album is signed under. Also, there is no information in international music databases that indicate this album exists. And besides websites that post game rips, there is no more information about this soundtrack. But, if someone could post links to websites that would more solidly prove the existance of this album, I would be forever grateful. As for me, I have the unofficial soundtrack. I simply installed Gun PC version on my computer, went through the installation files, and got me the music.
(For those who care, it’s located in the pcm folder as music_pcm. In order to decompress the PCM file, you need to use the towave converter. To do this, select the music_pcm file and click "open with" and select the towave converter and it will convert your files to WAV format. NOTE: Bundled in this are the cutscene sounds as well. You will need to manually separate the actual music from the cutscene sounds.)
The towave converter is located here:
CTPAX-X – Files archive (http://www.ctpax-x.ru/index.php?goto=files&show=24&lang=en)
NOTE: If the webpage is in Russian, at the top left box at the top of the page there should be two links that look like this [RU|EN]. Simply click EN and the page will be mostly english. Then just click Download at the bottom of the post next to the floppy disc icon. No installation is necessary to use this program. Just right click the PCM file you want to convert and click "open with" and chose the converter.
I own a CD which has 30 tracks, same as the thing being shared in this thread. Don’t know if it’s official or not, as stated previously i’ve got it from eBay.

If you could, could you post pictures of the Album cover and CD? I know this sounds like a strange request, but I was wondering if it had actual album print on the CDs itself and what the actual album cover looks like.
Thanks a lot!
Although I referenced this post from one of my PassionGloryTruth (Thread 118924) thread, guess I forgot to say thanks here. Listening again, great classic western sound & as davhuit said, fantastic main theme 😀
Thanks for sharing!

Hey Mr Leon.
Can i have thats 30 tracks from cd in lossless?

Sorry, I don’t bother uploading lossless anymore.
Ok.
does anyone else have the 30 track cd itself ?
(it s gone from ebay or amazon … )
alternatively i’d look at the music_pcm again since I had the game but the "towave converter" link is dead now.
does anyone have the towave converter file or know of an alternative place to get it now ?
hard drive crashes X<
thank you especially for either option

Try this link for the 30-tracks version. (http://www.2shared.com/file/G83zj_IX/bangbanglenntz.html)
however I am looking for cd quality because I like to edit for fun or make mixes
and for things like this one which were never officially released if it’s gone by today it’s probably gone forever
the composer is making films now one after another and who knows if he kept everything for a later rerelease of a game score
I had the music_pcm long ago prior last year’s drive crash.
That was (as I recall) better than non-vbr mp3 , with better highs and lows, but more much noisy than cd quality .. some sort of for console encoding I suppose
fine for editing
Right now there are a couple cds on some pages of questionable trustworthyness (they look like they take stuff from forums like this one and burn to CDs … mp3s to CD based on the timing of releases :< )
too bad the extractor program for the music_pcm is who knows where now (maybe somehere has it on a drive?)
so things like Kirby have 2GB flac rips floating around and orchestral stuff like this has nothing like that
Right now I have only the main theme in true cdquality, from another promo … somewhere
