Yea is a mini sampler OST so to speak. Official OST is suppose to have 74-80 plus tracks. Release from what I heard is later 2011. Np enjoy!

I’m almost done with Field Tracks for MediaFire, and working on FileFront in a moment. Say, if it’s okay, can I use your download links for Megaupload? I don’t have an account for Megaupload, and I don’t want to ever start uploading anything to that stupid website. If it’s okay, I’ll be sure to give you credit in my YouTube videos for uploading the OST to Megaupload. Uematsu san was done working under Square-Enix, became self employed and made his own studio. Since then hes contribute Final Fantasy Theme in XII and other Square-Enix games like Lord of Vermillion I and II. FFXIV OST will be his official return to the series.

Well Tracks names check out for now I don’t why errors are popping up now, iTunes shows them fine in my Library. I’ll have reupload them again. Sighs back to work… -.-

How is that low budget, free 2 play mmo’s can get full live orchestra scores and score to huge game like FF is based on samples (not the best ones to add…)? And also what the fffff…. Why all those guitars? There was a time that Uematsu could write awesome battle track without guitar, now it’s all piece of repetitive rubbish (just my opinion, not a fan of guitar music). I almost liked Field Tracks but after all – unfortunately – they are bland and boring. They bring back a bit of old Uematsu, but a bit is not enough. Overall poor music. But I’m not dissapointed, ’cause I had very low expectations;). Still thanks for share.

took a listen to it before bed last nite and indeed uematsu’s still got it. they were great. cant wait for full album later in year.

No she wasn’t included in these albums. Field and Battle is consider as simple of OST. The Full OST comes out later next year.

I feel ya, I some of the battle music is suposed to be fast and quick. Though in Collector’s Edition Making DvD, Uematsu san did said if he knew more about the game he would go back and redo few tracks. =/

well, if that happens, just delete the files from itunes and readd them. same with windows media player. the new info will be on there, i guarentee it.

edit: It seems like Track 01, Prelude is corrupt on the Field Tracks, I tried downloading it a few times…so not sure what’s up with that..?

simply repair the archive after downloadin it.

I’m having the same problem as neoasura. Even after repairing the archive, the Prelude still doesn’t work.

well in case I am uploading the track in question on a media fire Download. I still need to do the megaupload link, but been busy in real life so I haven’t gotten around to it… Once again sorry for those having issues.

We don’t know, but I presume it will be after FFXIV is updated with patch 2.0.

Which could be in…uh…was it 2013 they said?

I presume that the OST will be released around that time as well.

In the meantime, the music for FFXIV has been uploaded on Youtube by Snowvilers. There are also some new songs that have been added in Patches 1.18, 1.19, and 1.20 (and presumably there will be more in patch 1.21, which will be released later this week), and they have been uploaded by Youtube user AMagicalKarp, who will presumably upload any music used in 1.21 after the tracks are patched in. I believe the only track I haven’t seen on Youtube is the one labeled in the .dat files as 1E, which is merely a copy of Track 1D (Both 1D and 1E are the song "Answers" by Nobuo Uematsu [composer] and Susan Calloway [singer]), and being a copy, that track doesn’t matter.

There is but not everyone likes gamerip music 😛 Anyways most likely all the unreleased tracks will make it on FFXIV: REBORN OST when they release 2.0. If anyone has the gamerip Music and wants me to post their links here am more then welcome to add it. Just PM me with the links, I like to keep the FFXIV Music thread together and easy to find for others.

I hope nearly all of 1.0’s makes it into ARR/2.0 along with the new tracks. I loved 1.0’s music.
