regarding the dark layout

yes, we’re going to have one. i’m going to be working on one– i figured it was probably more important to get the forums up than have them down while we wait for one. if someone wants to help me with one (or knows where a decent one can be downloaded and modified to start with), hit me up on irc.

i loved our old dark layout but i’m actually really liking this layout for the most part

I liked the dark layout much more personally. Maybe I’m not liking this because it’s new and I haven’t gotten used to it yet, dunno. Still want the dark one though.

Seriously though, I always used to use the old lite theme rather than TimeWarp, but i’ve used TimeWarp since i came back ’cause whites on my new laptop are REALLY FREAKING WHITE. Seriously, this new layout is scarring my retinas. It’s good, but i suggest a 5 minute break every 15 minutes of lurking.

Also: you finally replaced the old crappy logo, but with a new crappy logo? For shame. You either need to embrace the Final Fantasy-ness of the place by using the actual FINAL FANTASY font, or change it up completely by being original. This new one seems halfway there 🙁

Oh man, that is a long and varied story. The ‘old’ one was based on an even older one that went out of use in the Cora years, and came back when Saram took over.

…I actually kinda liked the Cora theme tbh. It had furry charm.

Lol, I guess I should’ve said latest, not old. I do like this, but it’s a huge change; I’ll have to let it sink in. At least I’m very thankful to not have to worry so much about accidental double-posting like I have in the past.

I didn’t want to start a new thread to ask: How do I upload a profile picture? I can’t figure it out.

Aside from the blinding white, I like the changes. 🙂

Sarah, is there any way to fix the quick nav? Before it was nice because you could just hit go and it would take you back to whatever forum you’d been in, now you have to click and go down to find the forum from the list.

This light layout feels awkward. That old dark layout was like…a trademark of ffshrine. (uh yeah don’t ask lol) Glad to see that we’ll get a light and dark layout. 🙂 Now about those servers…
