Hello, I’m new here and I need help. I run Windows Vista.

The problem is, I can’t gsf or minigsf files to play on Winamp. When I try, they all have blank titles, are 2:04, and won’t play.

All of the picture links should show you what the problem is, I hope. If you need more picture, please tell me!

Well excuse me for being new here. Those are the files I got from using Saptapper. Could you recommend another way of extracting music files from ROMS and ISOs?

Have you tried googling for the soundtrack rather than extracting?

This thread might help, oh and please don’t bump it. It’s an ancient thread. I doubt anybody would reply anyways. Just keep it on this thread, and plus checked who participated in that thread and none of them are active now a days.

Well, I’m starting up a YouTube channel and I want to be able to get the music the day it comes out so I can have it up first, get more views, etc.

That topic is how I found this place, I think the problem now is the extracting part. Can anyone link me to a tutorial on how to do it?

Hello anyone and everyone who ever posts here again. I would like to inform you all of the problem. I have tried this on two separate computers and therefore I believe this is the reason why. It’s not your computer that stops the .gsf files from working, nor is it the file (though I was seriously considering that for about 5 minutes). When you download the file and it gets opened up in winzip or whatever you have, you will recall there is a .gsflib file that is in the folder with it. For some reason, if you do not have that in the folder you extract to with the other music, then NONE of your music in .gsf or .usf or ANY KIND OF FILE INVOLVING VIDEO GAMES WILL NOT PLAY. You need to extract that to the destination folder, along with all the other music files with it, or it will only recognize the title and the track length, but no matter how many times you hit the play button in frustration, it won’t work. Just thought I’d let everyone know. 🙂
