Ripped from my own copy. For all the tracks that were Galaxy or Boss names (ie stuff that was changed in the US version) I’ve used the US names instead of the Japanese ones because, well, that’s what most people downloading this are going to be familiar with. Other tracks are my own translations. No scans unfortunately, I had a scanner but I really have no idea where it is these days. Probably in a cupboard somewhere.

As a side note, a copy of the disc 1 log file seems to have ended up in the disc 2 folder in addition to the proper disc 2 log. The proper disc 2 log file is the one called Super Mario Galaxy Orchestra – Super Mario Galaxy 2 Orchestra Original Soundtrack.log. The other one (Unknown Artist – Unknown Title).log is just a dupe of the disc 1 log. So you can just delete that one, the disc 1 rar has it already. Sorry about that.

The real revelation here, for me, is Ryo Nagamatsu. This guy did Fleet Glide, Melty Monster and Fateful Final Battle – Wow! As far as I’m concerned he’s the star of the show.

I’m assuming Gohara Shigetoshi is the arranger of Throwback Galaxy (aka Bob-omb Battlefield). If you want the composer listing, it is, of course, Koji Kondo.

You missed re-naming a few tracks–23, 24, and 26–on Disc 1.

They are Cosmic Cove Galaxy, Hightail Falls Galaxy, and Tall Trunk Galaxy, to be exact.

I second this. There’s a lot more to a true lossless rip than simply encoding in FLAC. 🙂

Test and Copy is unnecessarily time consuming. While I agree that gaps should be properly detected, I think that being picky about the rip with something that we are lucky to have in lossless at all is silly.

I’m primarily concerned with the drive caching.

Hey, sorry to revive such an old thread, but I keep running into "broken files". Usually it’s with the last track in a part. For example, at the end of part 1 is The Starship Sails, but when I unzip it, 7-Zip File Manager tells me that the file is broken. Can anyone help?

sorry, I’m a n00b when it comes to technical stuff.do you use a lousy browser like internet explorer? That browser tends to load files when the download canceled/failed. I can check if the links are broken though.
