Hi, this is my first time here. I was wondering if you guy can direct me to some good music for martial arts demonstrations.

Basically, I’ve been using the naruto soundtrack and various movie soundtracks (7 swords, shaolin soccer theme, etc) for pretty much forever. I was wondering if there were any other anime or game music out there that fits this bill?

something along these lines… but we’ve used this music many times before.. this isn’t our group but just an example of what I’m looking for.

Thanks in advance!

There are loads of free youtube to mp3 converters out there, just search google. there are online ones to.
Yep, the Killer Instinct is good for training, I use it myself from time to time 😉

And btw, judging from your channel, your wushu is looking good!!

The Kung Fu Hustle soundtrack… contains a lot of old school kung fu film themes

Talking about movie scores, of course the theme from "Once upon a time in China", Wong Fei Hung. Various versions, vocals, instrumental, even one sung by Jackie Chen! ^^

Haha thanks, but that’s not me. It’s another martial arts group in Vancouver but since I couldn’t find any videos of our group with music, i just used them as an example since we all use very similar music tracks for our demos.

I never thought of kung fu hustle. We used shao lin soccer… I’ll look into that.

yep, we got those ones too. played just about every version of it for our demos lol.

I’ll look for the music file again. Is it the scott pilgram.rar file?

EDIT: Yeah dude, it’s all PNG files, not a single mp3 file :S

Ah, I see 😀

Check this whole score, if you don’t already have it. A true classic by Paul Hertzog:

Of course the Bloodsport OST is also highly recommended.
