Blazblue Continuum Shift

So, the sequel to Calamity Trigger is getting closer for America, all this basically is, is a polished version of Calamity Trigger with new characters, game modes, new story and new moves for some returning characters.
Another thing special about Continuum Shift is the DLC, before with CT there was skins and unlimited characters (which we in europe got for free 😀 ) but this time around, they have announcer voices and brand new characters up for grabs. Confirmed downloadable characters are Valkenhayn (hooray!), Platinum The Trinity and Makoto.

So, who’s excited?

I only got into this about a month ago when I found CT cheap but I must say I’m glad I did, I love this game and its characters to death.

Well it’s out in America tomorrow but Europe still has to wait until October, I don’t mind waiting as we usually get DLC added into the euro version without us having to buy them online.

I might get this, considering I never got the first one. However, there are a number of other games I want more than it, so I’m not entirely sure if I’ll end up getting it.

Yes indeed, I find his real soviet damage appealing.

I sub Noel but I’m pretty competent with most of the characters except Carl who I detest.

I’ve been checking out Valk vids, he looks like a definite sub for me alongside Hazama.

Valk is fun, I’m definitely going to main him. But then it becomes a three way tie for my main among Bang and Hakumen. The closest I could go for subs are Arakune and Makoto.

I can play everyone else decently… Even Carl.

This. This. ****ING THIS! Sorry about the overreaction, its just that you are the only person I know of besides myself who wants Relius playable.

He’s fairly popular on a poll about who could be a new character over at the Blazblue forum, people also wanna see Jubei and Kokonoe get some action.

Jubei needs to be playable, because he is awesome. And I doubt Kokonoe’s playability due to her apparent lack of combat abilities. Being part cat does not mean you are a capable fighter. But I digress, Arc Sys is running the show, not me.

I dunno, she might be, she is Jubei and Nine’s daughter.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she actually DID know magic and had been keeping it a secret until she becomes playable.

And Valk is still not out on 360, sad

Wait… There’s copies of CS for the PC? Don’t remember that happening with CT… Then again, I am not a PC gamer, so yeah.

CT was just recently released for PC. No idea whether CS will follow.

There are no plans for a PC version of CS, but it’ll probably happen sometime in the future.

Anyway, this has been delayed, except a release in mid november (providing it doesn’t get delayed….again)

If it comes to my birthday I’ll just import, fuck it.

On the brighter side, Arc Aystems have officially shown interest in making a Blazblue anime based on one of their latest tweets, Zen United also started a petition on their facebook page for one. Providing it doesn’t end up like most game animes (here’s looking at you DMC) then I’d love to see this happen.

So according to Zen, the problem that was delaying CS over in Europe has been fixed so we can look to see it in our shops soon.

Annoys me they can announce that and not a release date but w/e good news, I was scared we wouldn’t see it till next year lol.
