Who would like to see FF7 on the 3DS?

I am not an obsessed fangirl, but i think Square-Enix should totally do FF7 for the Nintendo 3DS it would be neat to see Cloud and Tifa come to life. Or if it can’t be a remake they can port it. Who’s with me?!

FFVII "came to life" enough on Advent Children and Crisis Core; I don’t think we need much more than that. The original is fine as is. And as Death’s Head said, remake threads are a no-no; I learned that the hard way, and since then don’t really care either which way anymore.

Now, show interest in a FFIX port to 3DS and then we’ll talk.

The increasing amount of FFVII fanboys/fangirls demanding a remake is starting to disturb me.

Remake? If it was put on the 3DS would it really call for an entire remaking, wouldn’t they just tweak the original to look sharper? It would be another way for squeenix to whore out ff7 some more without actually making a remake.

FFVII is already on a hand held if you want to play it on the move – get a PSP and purchase it from the PSN Store – FFVII does not need porting to yet another system (and a gimmicky one at that).

That explains why SE hasn’t made an original game in years then. Too busy on the corner pimping out FFVII and Cloud in women’s clothing.

You do realise the current gen consoles can do 2D games too, right? There’s no reason to remake it in 2D on a 20 year old system. IF they did it, that is.

I can’t even begin to fathom what playing that in 2D must be like :O Wouldn’t even be remotely the same experience.

Looks like some creative hacker must have used one of those FFI NES ROM editors and modified FFI (the castle tiles are a big giveaway) into FFVII, using custom sprites to do so (the ‘Meteor’ logo isn’t even correct – being simply a poorly sprited version of the logo from Advent Children.)

Still an interesting bootleg none-the-less.
