Who are your favorite FF7 Characters and Music?

I’m sure there’s like 100 threads on this forum about this, but I want to know your opinions. Personally, I can’t name all my favorite music or characters I like them all!

FFVII’s cast holds only a few whom I really do like. I am NOT in any way a fanboy of the game, but I do consider it awesome in many respects. The music . . . man, I love it all. Each and every FF title comes complete with an amazing soundtrack, and this one is no exception. I really, honestly can’t pick out any one piece that I like more than the others. That certain nostalgic MIDI quality of the soundtrack makes it all the more memorable.

The characters, however . . . are a different story. I absolutely detest Cloud and his moronically emo personality. I do realize ’emo’ is a very overused term, but it’s the only one that fits. Or, maybe I should simply say reclusive; call me crazy, but it’s a little tough to get behind a main character who barely even cares whole-heartedly about what all is going on.

I do think Red XIII and Vincent rank as my top two. I go more for the mysterious and quiet types unless there’s a Vaan or Zidane or Locke in the picture. The Turks, as well, have their moments that make them shine brighter than most of the main cast, and they’re not even the good guys. Another who does remotely stand out to me is Cid; he’s not a favorite, but he’s not all-bark-no-bite like a lot of his types are. I like that.

I suppose that’s it for my favorites.

Fav Track: "One Winged Angel"

Fav Character: "Barret"

Fave chara: Zack Fair. With many reasons as to why, one of them is him being just a plain Good Guy. He cares and he’s sweet, and makes a wonderful protagonist. Second main reason, he’s Suzumura Kenichi. I love Suzumura Kenichi. His voice emanates vibes that always make me tingly, and his voice rests on Zack’s attitude like a silken custom-made glove.
Fave Music: JENOVA (the AC version) or Those Who Accept the Protection of the Stars, or Last Order. I could have probably listed a fair few more, but picking a favorite track is difficult, since I enjoy music of all kinds and genres.

Favorite characters: Yuffie and Sephiroth.
Favorite music: One Winged Angel, Jenova, and the music that’s played in the mako reactors.

Man, this question has been asked so many times… but at least the original poster didn’t revive a dead thread. 😀

Favourite character: Aeris and Vincent.

Favourite musical tracks: too many to list, although I probably like Still More Fighting the most (the remix on the FFVII: Crisis Core OST is even better).

Favorite character is easily Reno. Hes always just struck me as an awesome character that I found very likeable and funneh. This was just strengthened by Advent Children.

Favorite track goes to Sending A Dream Into The Universe. A very pretty little track that always makes me smile and think of FF7.
However, Jenova comes very close. Just sounds very funky and twisted.
