Although Aerith is good too đ
Although Aerith is good too đ
Cid and Vincent were my other two as well đ Vincentâs transformations made him rather versatile in my party, and Cidâs limit breaks helped too. Plus they were my strongest two at the time so I just kept them with me the whole way.
And, I was totally caught off-guard when I lost Aeris; I never really liked her anyhow, so I wasnât sad. But the next time I played through the game I just stopped using her all together once I had the option not to. Only when the story made me did I even use her. No sense using someone youâre not gonna get to have through the rest of the game.
I always used Aeris and TifaâŚâŚ.. Until Sephie made me rage face when he killed Aeris đĄ Then I constantly used Vincent and Tifa. To me Vincent was a must since he got to shoot twice.
Depending on the stage of the game, my party for disc 1 was usually Cloud, Barret and Aeris unless the story forced me to use different ones. I didnât take to Cid as much until disc 2 when I used him as Aerisâ replacement, and started liking his skills so much so that on my next playthrough, knowing Iâd lose Aeris, I simply replaced Barret with Cid and then replaced Aeris with Vincent later on, and beefed up my main partyâs healing capabilities so that Iâd have my strategy ready for when I wouldnât have any other option. And I admit, I was one who spent hours trying to find a way to get Aeris back. When I realized it was impossible, I think I forced myself to dislike her, convincing myself I never needed her in the first place. Stupid mamaâs boy Sephiroth. . . . đ I did get Yuffie on my first playthrough, but got sick of her almost instantly and never got her again. Only used Cait Sith when I had to. Barret and Tifa were my backup. Oh, canât forget Red XIII (or as I always name him, âRedâ; in normal speech, nobodyâs gonna say âRed XIIIâ constantly. Too awkward.), who was always cool to use.
So there you have it; my three steps to victory đ
Cloud for his strength, Cid because no Limit skill on the game is as powerfull as highwind. And Yuffie for morphing with her Conformer. Seeing as Conformer deals damage based on the enemies level use her to morph sources from the monsters in the Sunken Gelnika. My party has maxed out its primary stats!
His âSpiritâ, âVitalityâ, âDefenseâ and âMagDefenceâ are the lowest out of every character. Stupid sod was useless in a boss fight.
same here, my best choice are Cid and TifaâŚthey make much better combination..
Multiple hits for a limit break. By the end of the game, thatâs the most important thing a character can have, really, especially if you use Hypers to give everyone fury constantly like I always do.
Then use Cloud, Barret, and Cid. 3 Best level 4 limits on the game.
Theres only 3 known people who have an End-Game Aerith by legimate means (not hacked)âŚ
and yes. I mean except for Cait Sith
Oh and I got 3 of each master summons, master commands, and master magic, so yeah. My party pretty much kicks ass. I just want the best characters
Haha!
For the longest I used Vincent and Tifa, but Vincent proved to be quite useless. His limit breaks just relinquish control over him and I feel that is one of the worst things that could happen during a boss fight. Granted, as CenterCore said, the boss fights were quite easy in the game anyway. On the last run of FF7 (I canât remember when that was!) I made Yuffie and Tifa part of the party and my party was quite efficient in every way. I always favor the females in the games ~
and itâs easier to use w-item:
put an item that you got only ONE left of at the top
(for power sources, go to the nibelheim reactor and keep running around the base and look for screamers)
use yuffieâs morph on a screamer, before she does that, click w-item and use the item at the top and wait for the power source to get there and perform the o,x,o,x, etc. and watch the strength come up when you use the sources
But I digressâŚ
Back on topic, on my original PSX version playthrough I normally used Tifa and Aeris in disc 1 and then tended to use Tifa with the third character alternating between Barret, Vincent or Cid, depending on my mood.
On the PC version though, Iâve pretty much stuck with Tifa and Aeris throughout the entire game (via a save file trainer), sans certain parts of the story where the flowergirlâs postmortem presence crashes the game spectacularly, in which case I temporarily replaced her with Barret. Great fun. đ
