This was created and compiled to be an addendum to the first official Street Fighter IV Original Soundtrack (http://vgmdb.net/album/11474) release, so I attempted to follow its template fairly closely. I believe I’d gotten all of the songs featured in the game, save for the Tournament Mode and associated jingle tracks; regrettably, Capcom has opted to lock out this mode until June, so I can’t record them yet. I may also try my hand at recording the prologue and epilogue cutscenes for the characters at a later time.
The stage themes (tracks 6-9 and 11) prominently feature their "Ultra" and "Heavy Damage" variations, edited in the same fashion as the SFIV Original Soundtrack’s stage themes. (Track 10’s Crumbling Laboratory -Round 1- does not feature Ultra or Heavy Damage variations in-game.) The eighteen new character themes specific to Super IV (tracks 17-34) were ripped from the SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV Character Sound Collection [Single Cut] (http://vgmdb.net/album/17782) CD release, but now with proper loops added.

Excellent! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7nH2cD4YlE)
Thanks a lot! :3
By the way, is it me or the stages’s musics (Crumbling Lab, Skycraper, ect.) are not as loud as the characters’s theme? If its possible to make the stage’s musics match the characters’s theme loud-wise.
the quality just mindblown me for beign mp3 format.
thank you very much =)

That would be the unfortunate contrast between what I’ve personally recorded in-game, and what you hear from a studio-released CD. I did my best to match the output of that from the Character Sound Collection, but a CD release’s direct mastering will always sound better.
I have a question. The track which is labeled Challenge Mode, does it have Ultra and Heavy variations like Training Mode (used for the challenges) did in the first version?
It doesn’t appear so, since the new Challenge Mode theme doesn’t play up in anything but that respective mode. As a fighting stage, the original SFIV Training theme plays, complete with its Ultra and Heavy variations.
Not always. And I’d say each of the release forms has its merits and flaws. However, this download is a combination of both – the character theme OST and the rest of the music is ripped.
🙂
Once again, thank you for your great work, Angela.
One thing though. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t there a new music piece that plays at the vs screen of a final match in a team battle set? Might be in other modes as well, but I only really remember it there.
Any chance you might be able to rip that and throw it in?
Angela this is definitely some excellent work you’ve done here. You’re TOP NOTCH at this, thank you very much for it. You’re version has the replay channel theme in it as well which I could listen to all day lol 🙂
Could you please re-tag them?
Could you please re-tag them?
Ask and ye shall receive. Actually, it had only come to my attention that I erroneously labeled the file names (the actual file names) with an incorrect number order. Not exactly sure what happened, but I had skipped over tracks 12 and 13, and started naming the tracks from Bonus Stage -Car Crusher- onward at track 14. So it started looking like this:
10) Crumbling Laboratory Stage -Round 1- (3:20)
11) Crumbling Laboratory Stage -Round 2- (4:09)
14) Bonus Stage -Car Crusher- (2:01)
15) Bonus Stage -Barrel Buster- (1:46)
16) Challenge Mode (2:04)
I went back and fixed that up — and I also re-tagged the whole thing with track numbers so that the order will appear properly for those who are using iTunes. The new links replaced the old ones in the first post. Apologies for that.
I present you the internet for 24 hours. Don’t go spending it all on porno.
Vega’s theme on the second loop is supposed to have a little bit more bass guitar right before the drums kick back in full force. You can hear it in the third go around in your version of the track. Listen to 1:48 and 3:18 for the difference. My recommendation is to move the loop point to when the drums kick back in.
And for Cody’s (as you’re probably aware) the second loop intro isn’t technically supposed to be the same as the original. I suspect that the change was due to the immediate fading of the second loop on the Collector’s Edition version (I don’t know why they did that…). My recommendation is to either try to level out the volume on the second loop of the single cut track (that could be dangerous), or to find that Cody combo video on YouTube and rip the audio from that and splice it in (that may not be noticeable).
I would say that these two thing are the only thing keeping your collection from being 100% perfect. You don’t even HAVE to do anything, as I’m sue I’m likely the only guy on the internet that would notice.
Great job nonetheless. I am really enjoying it.
*two things*
*only things*
*sure I’m likely*
I’m totally OCD if you couldn’t tell.
Thanks for all of your hard work.
Great job.
Hey Angela! Thank you very much for all your effort! I’ve been dying to get a clean version of the construction site stage song!
As for the songs’ volume, they can be remastered using a program such as dBpowerAMP Music Converter, namely the equalizer option. If you want to, I can "boost" the volume of the lower-audio songs (providing it won’t ruin the audio quality).
Cheers!
Cool soundtrack
Much appreciated.
