Don’t search a particular coherence with the Zelda story because it’s impossible to be coherent with all these different Zelda and because I prefer focus about good transitions between tracks!!! Im ready to hear ideas though

If you use iTunes i think the tags are good

(Theme) Name of the song (corresponding album) Artist Album title

You really have to use iTunes, it has no sense if you don’t do it 😉

This has piqued my interest…… I’m a Zelda fan, so I’ll give a shot at making a cover for you. But tell me specifically what you want the title to be and if you want your screen name on it. This would be a good time to think of a better title for your compilation if you want.

edit – The cover is practically finished, all that remains is the text. For the time being I put "The Best of Zelda – Compiled by Firefue" but I can change it if you don’t like that. I think you’re going to like it. 🙂

It would probably look better if it said "Compiled by Dim17". If I move the name to the corner it would look like an artist tag so people would think you made the cover instead of compiling the music. Just sayin’, I know that would confuse me if I didn’t know the difference. Is that alright or do you really want it in the corner?

I’ve been tweaking it a little today and I think I’m happy with it, so I’m gonna call it finished. I hope you like it 🙂 Here’s a 500×500. I saved larger files so if you want a bigger size feel free to ask for them. The largest one I made is 2500×2500.

No. I wish I had photoshop though……… But it’s not that important for me to get it :p I’m glad you like it.

OK i’ve uploaded a new link with the actual cover 😉 a new album name, track names for all songs (if you don’t use iTunes it will make a sense!

I’m looking forward to have a better general audio quality (I have some tracks in 128kbps…). I think i can find 320 kbps versions for all the songs except for the Rips (Spirit Tracks…).

I’m also looking forward for a Halo Best of/I’ve chosen 50 tracks for 2 hours and 10 minutes (I had 252 tracks for 10-11 hours of music…). I now have to find how to classified this, maybe by themes like for this best of Zelda… I have to think about it when i have more time… Are you interested?

I’m preparing a v2 with some themes in more but i want to stay with 40 tracks so I’ll remove certain tracks. I’m also gonna try to improve the global quality of the songs (with a better bitrate).

Tracks I’d like to add:
Dragon Root island (Super Smash Bros Brawl) –> It’s the better version! (substitute track 22)
Song of storm (Remix-4:13) (Super Smash Bros Brawl) (substitute track 30)
Hyrule Temple (Super Smash Bros Melee) (substitute track 32)

Tracks i’m thinking to remove:
30. Overworld Theme II : Main Theme (Super Smash Brawl OST)
22. Game Theme II : STAR Game (Twilight Princess OST)
32. Battle Theme I : Boss Battle (Ocarina of Time Reorachastated)

I add one album (Super Smash Bros Melee) and remove one (Ocarina of time ~ orchestrated). I remove a battle theme for another.
It doesn’t break the global ambiance of the album ad add some great themes (3)
You can give me your preferences!
It will be the final version! At least til the New Zelda Wii!

I’m working on it. It includes Halo OST, Halo 2 Vol 1, Halo 2 Vol. 2, Halo Wars, Halo ODST and some features…

I think i’m gonna do a v3 with the upcoming Zelda. I will replace the songs from Ocarina of time (mp3) to put the digitally remastered officiel version (aac). Quality will be better!

In all honesty, stick with the original WW soundtrack. I was sorely disappointed with the "remastered" product. Some parts were new (not was well done) and other parts were cut out. In particular, one of my favorite songs (Medli’s Prayer) had the fantastic guitar section cut out.
