The aim of this topic is to determine the most expected soundtrack of the upcoming years!
You can tell me your three first soundtracks that you you expect the most.
If everyone participates it could be funny to see what are the most expected soundtracks, the composer the most expected…
Here is the general ranking (I will actualize it):
1. Adventures of Tintin (John Williams) – 1
2. The Hobbit (Howard Shore) – 1
3. The Lost symbol (Hans Zimmer) – 1
My Top 3 (there is no surprise because it appears in my signature 🙂 ):
– Adventures of Tintin (J.Williams)
– The Hobbit (H.Shore)
– The Lost Symbol (Hans Zimmer)
Nothing crazily original, but i think it will sound great!
Tell me if you have some suggestions!
Ok your turn! 🙂
Final Fantasy Versus XIII – Yoko Shimomura
The next thing from Ed Harrison (the guy who did NeoTokyo)
Epic Mickey – James Dooley
God of War III – Gerard Marino, Chris Velasco, et al
The new Legend of Zelda
Mass Effect 2 – Jack Wall, et al
Okamiden – ???
Portal 2 – Jonathan Coulton, et al
– (2) Atelier Totori: Alchemist of Arland 2 (hopefully it’s done by Ken Nakagawa and Daisuke Achiwa: composers of Ar Tornelico, Mana Khemia, Atelier series)
– (3) Blaze Union: Story to Reach the Future (Yggdra Union side story)
– Front Mission Evolved (the series seems to be making really good music after FM3)
– Ninety Nine Nights II (I really hope it’s as good as the first one)
– (1) Super Robot Wars: Lord of the Elemental (DS remake, c’mon JAM PROJECT give me a good title song ^_^… or you can give me "Neppu! Shippu! Cybershooter!")
– Ys vs Legend of Heroes (I’m going to be hearing remakes… but it’s… FALCOM)

Did Portal have music in it? The only song that’s in my head is the ending song… "I’m Still Alive".

There was. But "Still Alive" was Coulton’s only contribution to the soundtrack (all of the other music was written by Kelly Bailey and Mike Morasky) and based on its popularity they’re going to give him full composer duties. So I’m curious to see what he’s got now that the spotlight’s on him.
