The Official Kingdom Hearts Music Rumble II

Everyone knows what the deal is obviously but if you’re a new member, then here’s a quick guideline:

>You can only vote once per battle and put your vote in the bold font.

> Mild discussion is allowed and encouraged, don’t turn this into a debate though, it’s annoying to have to go through a lot of posts to find votes.

> I can vote and I will do so at the start of each round.

> Updates may be once a day or slightly longer, if there’s a tie I’ll see if anyone obliges with a tie breaker or I will choose someone.

> The first round will focus on pitting similar themes against each other, expect to see triple threats and fatal four ways between different versions of the same themes (for instance, There are 3 versions of Vim and Vigor from KHII, 358/2 days and BBS so in the first round all three will go against each other and the winner will go through to the next round simply as “Vim And Vigor”)

> I understand that practically no one will have played BBS; therefore descriptions for most of the themes for BBS will be in spoiler tags.

This theme is one of the reasons that Lord Of The Castle isn’t my favourite theme anymore, this theme is one of the most epic things to ever reach my ears. I came up with the name myself as it mainly combines fragments of sorrow and fate of the unknown but you can also hear abit of Aqua’s theme in there too.
This theme plays during the final battle of birth by sleep where Aqua fights against Terra (possesed by Master Xehanort after he took over Terra’s body earlier to become the Xehanort we know from KH2) in radiant garden a truly epic fight

A white version of Vanitas with the unversed symbol on his head, he seems to be similar to the silhouettes used in FMII+ this is the first secret boss to have no relation to the story whatsoever, he’s just one hard bastard and trust me, he really is, look up youtube vids for the fight to see

I never thought KH could be this emotional, this is battle theme for when you fight Xion for the last time. It expresses probably the saddest story in Kingdom Hearts to date. The name isn’t official but I saw someone on youtube call it this and thought it was pretty cool. This theme has bits of Xion’s theme, Dearly Beloved and Kairi’s theme in here.

A Day In Agrabah & Under The Sea

There are definitely differences in the versions, though subtle. If we were indeed doing differentials, I would definitely vote A Day in Agrabah and Arabian Dream from KH2 over the versions in KH1.

Don’t you remember round one? I had different versions of themes facing off against each other silly.

The battle theme for the realm of darkness, yes, the realm of darkness becomes the final world in birth by sleep final mix and anyone who’s played the orignal birth by sleep will know why. What’s interesting about this world is that you actually fight Heartless instead of unversed.

Another theme from BBS Final Mix. This plays during the battle with "No Heart" who is a boss fought via the mirage arena, he looks just like Xemnas’ armoured form and fights using Master Xehanort’s keyblade, he is insane, he actually gets off the throne and starts fighting you which was pretty cool. You’ll notice the theme basically combines Ansem’s main battle theme (Forze Del Male) and Xemnas’ (Darkness Of The Unknown). This is one of the most awesome things I’ve ever heard.

The battle theme for one of the secret bosses in BBS, widely regarded as the toughest opponent in KH to date (he was so hard they had to tone him down in BBS final mix in order to make way for the newer secret bosses). He appears as a Org XIII robed member and fights with two blue lazer like swords that are somewhat similar to Xemnas’ weapons. He does all sorts, clones himself, traps you before decimating you with a huge combo, heals himself by reversing time, cover the screen in projectiles, he has a doom spell, he can SCATTER YOUR ABILITY DECK all over the place so you have to pick them up again before you can use them and turn himself invisible, he’s quite a handfull. Check out this video if you wanna see how hard this guy is:
