Hmm wheres the combat music?
Hmm is all I found in audio (Music_stereo.fsb) that contains 160 MP3 128kbps Track
And (Music_Common.fsb) contains 42 Track (Impulsetracker Module (. It) That I can not convert to a format compatible, I believe that music is combat.
I can send the files to see if you can.
Would you like files (Impulsetracker Module (. It)?
try this mate.

It shattering, the music is skipping badly.
Anyone have same problem ?
Curious about which programs were used to rip it…
Well actually it was the first GameRip, truth I have no good knowledge of how to make good GameRip.
The audio file containing the audio tracks is called (Music_Common.fsb) and I used the tool (fsb_mpeg) you unzipped the files to 128Kbps MP3 audio format and do not change the sound quality.
If anyone knows of any tool that can give me the better quality let me know and we will gladly share with you.

Hmmm… I see. I found that tool and it’s really useful… kinda bummed me out that the output had to be 128kbps without an option to change it.
However, that’s foe the Music_Common.fsb. What about the Music_stereo.fsb? I tried fsb_mpeg but it wouldn’t produce the tracks properly. Any ideas?
Here’s an illustration of what I mean (it’s even easier to understand if you know about waveforms):
Notice both channels are identical? No stereo.
Here’s how it should look like:
Both channels different. Stereo. Recorded straight from sound card when loading the game. Obviously without sound card’s audio enhancements for clean recording.
For those who love the main theme that plays when you start up the game and the same track from the correct waveform earlier:

I also contacted the author of the program. Hope he’s interested in have a look at this peculiarity.
thanks for the music, i love it

If you want to get the soundtrack yourself you can try googling Music Player Ex. It’s a Java player that can open the sound files that Just Cause 2 uses and convert them to wav or mp3. Beware tho, like I pointed out earlier: they’re not in stereo. At least not on my system.
The files that I have almost all are stereo, upload the files again in a single pack with 105 new track. Coming soon.
I’d also appreciate an updated rip if you have the time. I noticed many tracks had clicks and pops in them, the main theme for instance. And could you also convert them using a bitrate higher than 128kbps? It seems too low quality nowadays… :p It’s almost mainstream to use LAME@VBR -V2.
Oh and what did you mean by them being in stereo but not in stereo? You kinda lost me there :p
I hope your comment
