I’ve just finished Chapter 9, when I’m finally able to make my own party so I’m starting to think about what characters and Paradigm set-ups to use full-time. At the moment I’m using Lightning (maybe trade for Fang when I can), Hope and Snow, and my main Paradigms are Bully, Diversity and Relentless Assault.

What are everyone’s favourite set-ups so far?

I’m planning to have Commando, Synergist and Saboteur to begin battles, then also have Commando, Medic, Sentinel and Commando, Ravager, Ravager afterwards, the former set up will be awesome IMO against hard bosses.

I never got Doom from Barthandelus. I had a Diversity set-up (Commando, Ravager and Medic) with Snow, Lightning and Hope. I started off by taking out the left pieces of his armor, then his right and finally focusing on him. Didn’t really find him difficult, just really prolonged.

There’s a boss in Chapter 10, won’t mention the name because it’s a spoiler, but I found him a lot tougher. For this one, I switched out Lightning for Fang and used her as a Sentinel with a Medic and a strong Commando, and switched between that and Relentless Assault for when the boss is using Guard. Also a long battle, but easy with that strategy, which may also work for the one you’re stuck with.

@Lukey

i beat him. took a few attempts though. i havnet bothered doing any weapon/ accesory upgrades, so after i did some, he went down abit easier. yeah he put doom on light when he got down to about 10k hp, so just had to pummel him and pray he dies before light does! and yeah Diversity is my most frequently used role too!

and the boss in c10, if its the famous star of FF begining with a B, then i know what ya mean, im about to go take my 5th swing at him now… im thinking Fortisol, and aerosol before i trigger the fmv, hope i can buy them at the save shop…

edit: nope cant buy them at the shop! 😮 yet… you can later though, if anyones reading this…

I use Lightning, Snow and Hope although I occasionally swap Snow for Fang against a really hard boss.
