I have Revenge of the fallen on AVI file and want to make the long anticipated high quality custom score, any idea what program (for free) I could download to achieve this? (I want the dialogue gone and if possible the SFX too).

You can’t separate sfx and voices from music on an AVI file, you need the dvd to be able to try that.

Because when you rip a movie to AVI the sfx, music and speech are all merged together, on the dvd, there’s a chance that the music is on a separate channel from the sfx and speech, so it can be ripped that way.
