I second that request!
Zhao Jiping is a master, and my favourite chinese composer, next to Tan Dun.
they are very different. Zhao is much more traditional.
He also composed the music for the new Peking Opera movie by Chen Kaige, called Mei Lanfang or "Forever Enthralled".
I have searched for both of them, but they are not out yet i think, not even in stores in china…
I do hope they release the soundtracks for both.
they have done so for his older soundtracks, like farewell my concubine and To Live.
I will keep searching! I hope you will too.
