Barret’s Final Limit Break

I’ve been through this game many many times but never used Barret as a main party member. So after downloading FF7 onto my PSP via the PSN, I’ve decided to go through it again using Barret,

And i just have one question concerning Barrets final limit break. Do you have to save the train in corel in order to obtain this? or can you still get it even if you failed?

And yes, ive search it on google, and so far ive seen people saying you can get it even if you don’t stop the train, and others saying you can’t.

Barrets Final Limit Break is garbage. Not to say all of his limits are. Just that his 3-2 Limit Break is far superior. Ungarmax hits more times. About as many as Omnislash ( A few hits less). If you beefed him up to do at least 8k hits, he’ll easily be your 2nd best character.

Of all FF character, I think Selphie takes the cake as my absolute least favorite. VIII is still an amazing game regardless, though.
