"W/F: Music from Final Fantasy XIII"

Hey, I’m curious, if anyone can get there hands on the record, record it, somehow, and upload it, I’d appreciate it.

I’m talking specifically about the unreleased track, at the end of side B, "Ragnarok – Sans Pipe Organ – Version".

The release date is tomorrow, and I know SOMEONE out there has a record player/turn table.

(Worst business decision I’ve ever seen; release the soundtrack for a huge price, and NOT include any extras. BUT, release one of them…on a vinyl record. Seriously, bad decision.) -_-

I was going to order this vinyl since I do use vinyls, and I would love to do a 24bit/96kHz lossless codification, but I couldn’t buy it as they only sold it on Square Enix Music through their online shop for Japan.

I’ve seen people selling it on eBay for more than 100€, that’s insane taking in mind it’s only 8 songs, and only one of them is new/unreleased.

Lets hope somebody with good knowledge of audio does a lossless codification of this, since ripping a vinyl is not as easy as ripping a Compact Disc.

Amen to that. All I want to hear is the Ragnarok Organ version. I own the LE edition FFXIII CD and want to hear the only thing not released on the CD. 🙁

I had arranged an organ version of the song on my youtube page, way before the game even came out (the lil buggers stole my ide—–) Hahaha just kidding. I’d just like to hear this interpretation.

Oh, now I’m sad. I went on Nicovideo.jp and I found it…but it’s not an organ version……but a organ-LESS version.
That’s unfortunate. Guess I’m not missing out on anything. 🙁

I bought this record a few days ago and it showed up today.

I think I know someone who has the equipment to make a digital version so I’ll be doing it soon.

Glad to hear that. Please consider a lossless codification, since vinyls does have a lot of rich details on a wide varity of frequencies, and a FLAC codification will be brilliant for this vinyl.

If you need any help doing the recording or encoding, just send me a PM. I do have many vinyls and I do record through my Technics 1210M5G lot of records, but unfortunately I couldn’t get THIS record to rip it myself >_<
