Techno Soft – Thunder Force II, III, IV Original Sound Version Collection (http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5401778)
Vertiphon 2010 Remaster
This torrent contains the 91 tracks that comprise the soundtracks for the Sega Genesis games Thunder Force II, III and IV by Techno Soft. Techno Soft released a variety of game soundtracks, some containing this music, but they’re insanely hard to track down and very old now.
As with my Gunstar Heroes OSV remaster (http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5393285), I have added some sympathetic mastering, made appropriate edits and rearranged the tracklist so that it makes for a better listen as an "album" (watch out for the continuously segued "boss medleys" on III and IV). This is some of the very best music the Sega Genesis had to offer, and seeing as a few nabbed my Gunstar Heroes torrent I hope you enjoy this as much as I do, it’s one of my favourite Sega Genesis soundtracks.
Again, sorry I’m not posting this for direct download, this time it’s nearly 1.9GB of FLACs.
-Vert.
Edit: Corrected files as noted below, new torrent.
Edit 2: Please look below for MegaUpload links, kindly uploaded by chdgs. And check out my remasters of Star Fox (http://forums.ffshrine.org/showthread.php?p=1451288), and Gunstar Heroes (Thread 74347).
I’m going to check this out ASAP. ^^
This is why torrents are nearly obsolete since 2008. >_>
oh, I believe you ^^
Just that I’m not picking up any Seeds.. darn.
I’ll hang in there, though~ thanks
Edit: Attack Sharply (Fomalhaut) and Strike Out (Ratt Carry) in the TFIV soundtrack are mislabeled as each other. 😐
yea! I’m finally getting Seeded! ^_^v
I’ll let you know right after it finishes, and I have a listen~ thanks!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, in fact tracks 19-21 were all mixed up and they should be labelled as follows:
19 Takeshi Yoshida – Attack Sharply (Hell Arm)
20 Takeshi Yoshida – Simmer Down (Ratt Carry)
21 Takeshi Yoshida – Strike Out (Fomalhaut)
I have corrected the torrent, those of you that already have it all, just change the tags accordingly! Note that the music is in the correct order, it’s just the tags that were wrong.
I have changed the inside inlay cover to reflect this, you can download that separately from sendspace (http://www.sendspace.com/file/v547xp).
I’ve also attached a corrected text file to this message.
Can’t wait ^^
you don’t have to worry. I’m very patient and will have plenty else to upload/download/listen~ ^^
We’re just lucky to have this at all. Thanks
I’ll be keeping the torrents up, even with the MU links here.
Thanks to both of you guys for providing this stuff! ^_^v
Thunder Force music is some of the best SHMUP music there is.
O_o
I am beyond grateful… My connection (and patience is very good) ^^
let me quote myself, because I think there’s been a complete misunderstaning:
"you don’t have to worry. I’m very patient and will have plenty else to upload/download/listen~ ^^
We’re just lucky to have this at all. Thanks"
Just right above you I also wrote:
"Thanks to both of you guys for providing this stuff! ^_^v"
I’m already considering going through Elemental Master by Techno Soft, as it was composed entirely by Toshiharu Yamanishi, who made most of the TFIV OSV. Perhaps also Streets Of Rage.

I’d always be interested in your downloads.
Thanks for anything you can provide ^^
Streets of Rage will be soooo coool!
actually direct downloading was made obsolete by torrents, really
thanks.
let us know if you have planned some new project…
i think the Street of Rage I & II may be a nice project for the future, thousands of people love this musics.
🙂 keep up the good job.
haha really?
well, i stand corrected then ^^
chgds makes a long unwieldy post anti-torrents in my Gunstar thread. Unnecessary, I have no interest in providing copies on MU, sorry. However I appreciate his work in doing so with my Thunder Force release.
Yes, torrents are "slower", but I’m not impatient and neither should you be. Me leaving my server on to serve it is my business, don’t presume that I should worry about such things. I sense some people here are trying to be earnestly helpful, and are merely ending up being annoying.
But for those of you that have downloaded my remasters, either from the torrents or MU, I hope you liked them. Those that have replied as much, thank you. I plan to do others as and when I have time.
Torrent, megaupload, post office. As long as I grab this, I don’t care how I get it.
I just say thanks to the man.
I wondered if some might argue about the "authenticity" of my ripping methods, but a real Sega Genesis involves real-time capture which a) is noisy, and b) I don’t have time for. I’m critical of these things, though, so if I release any more you can be sure that the sources I use will, above all, sound "good", whether they’re "correct" or not.
I’m also considering the two SNES Starfox games, as it’s a series I have a lot of familiarity with. Haven’t decided yet, though.
That’s not to say they don’t sound good, because they do.
Of course Trigun, and anyone else that has the means, as you’re getting FLAC files you’re welcome to further adjust the soundtrack to your personal tastes, but I would ask you not to redistribute those versions.
congrats with the covers,
very good job 🙂
it’s a pain to dl Gunstar Hero, impatient to listen now ^^
