Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon

I decided to rip the music myself, as I couldn’t find a full gamerip of this one.

Yeah, so if anyone wants to download it, here you go, not sure if this was posted here before though:

It’s from the original PAL version however, so some songs that were later added into the reprint are not included unfortunately.
Personally, I prefer the original music over the new music, the music fits even with the levels they were reused in, so that doesn’t bother me at all.

Hmm… I downloaded it but when it plays there’s a strange noise over each track, it’s hard to describe, a sort of ‘warping’ noise or something…
It’s on every track except ‘Spyro 3 Theme’, ‘Sheila’s Ridge’ and ‘Icy Peak’.

That’s weird. It plays perfectly fine for me.

Although something similar happens when i play these songs on my mobile phone…

Anyone got any ideas what could be causing that?

What I did was convert the audio files on the CD into a .wav format with PSound, then I created 2 audio tracks in Audacity spliced them together for stereo sound and exported them as .mp3 files.

Not sure if that’s the common way of ripping music though.

I actually found another song on the CD that’s never actually played in the original release: Evening Lake.

Anyway, I still don’t know what caused the problems when others listened to this rip, so keep that in mind when you decide to download that the music may not be played properly for some reason.
