Regarding FF& Rumours

Why does FF7 have so MANY rumours connected to it. I was looking around at other FF games and it seems that FF7 is the one with the most rumours attached to it. Anyone know why or have any theories?

well, I’d say it’s because it’s so popular. Think about it.

Suppose there’s a really famous guy who drives his car into a tree, and a normal guy who drives his car into a tree. Which one is the media gonna focus on and make (possibly make UP) stories of? The famous one, of course!

That was unnecessary. And btw that’s Hojo not Sephiroth. Say Hojo 3 times in front of a mirror, and say goodbye to the rest of your life, as you’re going to be spending it as an test subject.

what you mean all the 2 rumors? ff7 remake and u can make aeries survive?

probably because square enix said they will make a remake and than made a tech demo and series of movies than a prequel. and most recently saying the remake has been put on hold.

Erm, Square Enix never have stated they’ll make a re-make, simply because (as has recently been further explained) it would be a phenomenal task, and Square Enix would rather go forward than backwards.

It’s been noted their hold on the RPG market has severely loosened from what it use to be, so re-making FFVII just isn’t in their long-term best interests.

The "tech demo" was, just that… a tech demo for the PS3 featuring a re-made intro to FFVII, the FF community then blew it way out of proportion and after changing their pants several times proceeded to go on and on and on about a remake.

Aeris dies… the "cheat" is more of a mod to make her a valid party member selection after her death.

FFVII did so well, without the grand next-gen make-over that thousands upon thousands of people want it to have. It just doesn’t need it.

I recently watched a Crisis Core playthrough, if that had been done exactly how FFVII was done, it’d still be a great addition, since it really explored Zack Fair’s character. He became more than "that guy Cloud thinks he is and whose sword he has that also had a thing for Aeris". You actually feel sorry for him at the end.

You can also get her, Sephiroth, and Young Cloud in your party if you have Gameshark for the PS1.

Through usage of a cheat program called JENOVA (yes, that’s what it’s called), you can get Aeris, Sephiroth and young Cloud in your party.

3. Wooden Chocobo
This rumor is weird. Visit Wutai, steal Lord Godo’s underwear and run into the nearest forest. Inside you will find the Wooden Chocobo.

These rumors are flat-out malicious lies, I feel bad for anyone who actually believes them and spends hours trying to get said item.

None of the rumors listed on any site are true.

Can you get Aeris, Sephiroth and Young Cloud in your party? Yes, via cheat devices like the Action Replay or Xploder. There is a program called ‘Jenova’ which works the same the other two devices do for the PC version of FFVII.

Can you get them in your party via any other means? No. Anything saying otherwise is a lie.

Can you resurrect Aeris? No. Her death was a needed plot development for the game and she was planned to die back in the planning of the game.

Can you get Sephiroth in your party? Only via the above method. Anything else is a lie.

Remember, this game is 13 years old. If any of these rumors were true, worked or had any validity to them, it would of been proven well before now. Rumor threads like this irritate me, because someone (usually in most cases, though not all, it’s the OP) finds on some site something which says something about FFVII, then decides to spread the word.

All rumors of FFVII are false. Deal with it.

You know, I honestly don’t know what’s so likable about Aerish that anyone wants her back to begin with :/ I was glad to be rid of her annoying self when I reached that point in the game. Her Limit Breaks were good, but that’s about it. I didn’t need anything more than the other characters to get me ahead from that point.

FYI- I’ve tested most of those GS codes btw, and it always says "file ruined" when I have them active (solitary & multiple codes) 🙁
